I ask because there are at least 4 other threads on this forum that have articles posted to them and two of them you have responded to. (Televangelist's wife asked to leave plane, Kennedy falls for library hoax, Bin Laden neice in glamour shots, Abortion tour)

Maybe those few people who are bringing it up against another poster are just jealous that that person is finding all the "good stuff". LOL

This will not answer your specific question, but the Greek Chat Administrator pointed out in the moderators forum recently that the Terms of Service pretty plainly state that copyrighted material may not be used in its entirity without the expressed consent of its owner.
He pointed out that he feels it's permissable to use a short quote and then provide a link to the full article.
John has also pointed this out in other open threads. Many of us (moderators and myself included) have been guilty of breaking this part of the TOS, and probably the Copyright laws as well.
I have stopped.

Given that I started this crusade a long time ago against ztnke, I'd like John to specifically address what length is acceptable (one line, 200 words, 3 paragraphs, specific quote) and what international law permits that decision.
Also he should address why he hasn't deleted the many, many threads with the articles in them. Forums act as storage and are not one-time events. Furthermore, does he feel that the News and Politics forum is conducive to following this rule and not breaking the law?

I suspect the answers are that GC has gotten so big it would be nearly impossible to go back and make those corrections
This isn't a full time job for John.
Perhaps this is an attempt to get something that is out of control back into some reasonable semblence thereof.
Or, he could just delete everything and start over again.
Or, maybe skip the second part of that last sentence.
Maybe the best thing we could do to help is to try to obey what few rules are mentioned in the TOS.
