I LOVE this show!!! I just wish they would show a bit more "behind the scenes" stuff from the mansion.
My favorites (in order) are:
1. Jordis
2. Mig
3. Marty
4. Suzie
As fabulous as Jordis is, somehow, I can't see INXS with a female lead-- because it would totally change their look and sound. (But, in my opinon.. it would be an improvement!) She's absolutely hynotic when she sings.
I have a feeling Mig is going to win.
I don't get why Ty is still there. I think he's pretty bad, and definately not right for the band. He's a bit pompous too-- can't take constructive criticism.

i think Mig is the best fit for the band.
brandon was like a poor version of Chris Robinson.

If Susie is in the bottom three again after tonight, I'll cry. She was better than everyone else on the stage (with the exception of Our Band, House during Dream On and Proud Mary.)
That is all.

She's good, but I really like Jordas the best.
I like Mig and Marty about equal. I think those will be the top four.
I don't get why Ty is there. He's just not a good fit for the band.

OK, I've now changed my mind. I think Marty is awesome! He really grows on you. I like Mig too. Wow.. it would be tough to choose between the two, but right now, I'm giving the edge to Marty.

Either I'm the only one watching this show, or I'm just talking to myself!
I just wanted to share that due to low ratings, they only run the show on Tues. and Wednesdays now-- HOWEVER-- I discovered that they show the Mansion stuff on VHS. Check your listings.
I love the mansion parts-- they had Mig's wife flown in from London to surprise him as a reward for getting to do the encore. You can tell he's SO in love with her.. he's really a sweet guy.
I hope they show more of Marty next time. I really like him and am rooting for him. But I do like Mig too... wish they could have co-lead singers! But, I still have to give the edge to Marty.

You're not the only one watching.
The Save Suzie campaign worked, hurrah! Now, if you read Andrew's most recent blog entry, I'd say it looks like Ty will be the next out. We'll see from there. Don't rule out co-lead singers either. I think it's going to break down like this over the next few weeks:
5. Ty
Best singer in the competition. I'd pay to see him on stage any day. But I'm sorry, he's just not right our O'BINXS.
4. JD
Sure, RS:INXS is a TV show and is edited to death. Even so, I just can't see O'BINXS wanting to deal with drama again. They did it once, and I just don't expect them to knowingly ask for more. Personally, I adore INXS and hope to high heaven he's gone soon. IMHO, JD is just not right for MY band INXS!
3. Suzie
I love her. I do, and I'd be pleased if she won the whole enchilada, or even "tied" with either of the next 2 competitors. She kicks serious ass on INXS tunes and has been consistently improving each week. O'BINXS have repeatedly said that they are open to having a female lead singer. She'd do well.
2. Marty
If I wasn't on the Marty train before last Wednesday, I am now. His version of Don't Change was brilliant in so many ways. Is he a perfect singer? Nope, not even close. Is he incredibly mesmerizing on stage? Heck yeah!!! If INXS really wants to move forward, he's their man. (I have to admit, I really really want to see Marty's interpretation of This Time one of these days.) Regardless of the outcome, I think we'll see a lot more of Marty Casey in the future.
1. MiG
Nope, no conspiracy theories here, although they are out there. He's the whole package, he's an experienced pro, he's comfortable on stage and knows what it takes. I love to watch him perform. I'd kill to see him do something like Simple Simon or Send a Message or even Hear That Sound just to see what he could do with them. I think he's ultimate right for my band, INXS. I hope O'BINXS agrees with me
I just don't want this one to end, and I never thought I'd EVER say that about a reality TV show. I thought it was ridiculous when I heard that INXS was doing the show, because how on earth would you replace MH? Now, I'm hooked beyond belief. I've been replacing my vinyl for CDs, scoping out the videos online, and enjoying every glimpse of Garry Gary and Jon our producers give us.

FINALLY! A mansion show worth watching. The highlights:
1. The RS:hamsters listening to a Deanna track after her Timination this week. Certainly seems they think highly of her. More tears.
2. It's a good thing to actually prepare before going into the studio to lay down vocals for a new INXS song. The five who were shown on camera practicing sounded good to great. The one who was shown sleeping and admitted he didn't practice at all sounded like it. Andrew and Jon were not pleased. If the editing is any indication then maybe it's finally GOOD BYE JD!
3. Nothing about the City Walk performance from Friday night. Maybe next time?
4. Someone is spending some serious dinero for song rights this week. Lennon, McCartney, QUEEN, Stones, Elvis and FLOYD. Even better, 2 of the songs will be done with a choir. Seriously. (Monkey.)
5. MiG and Suzie both want QUEEN, JD wants Elvis, Jordis' eyes are huge at the song choices. After much deliberation (and Ty reminding MiG that QUEEN just may not be the right choice for him at this point.)
Jordis-- Imagine (Sigh. She should be brilliant with this, but who knows what will happen.)
MiG-- Live & Let Die (Be still my heart, please do the Sir Paul and not the GNR version Miggy.)
Suzie - Bohemian Rhapsody (First song w/ choir. They focused on her OB:H rehearsal, it's either going to be bloody brilliant or the worst train wreck of the show.)
TY - Can't Always Get What You Want (Oooh! Ty with the choir!)
JD--Suspicious Minds (can you say Elvis Impersonation Part 2? Thought you could.)
and
Marty--WISH YOU WERE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI--you can get videos of most if not all performance clips at the official site. Dave's site (6767.com) also links to performance archives as well.
Get prepared to be shocked folks, I agree with blueangel. Marty rocks, nuff said. He reminds me of another lead singer I adore, one Mr. Robin Zander. Sigh. </fangirl>
Although, if INXS is getting ready to put out dreck like "Us" then I think Marty should come in 2nd. Come on Andrew, you've GOT to have better stuff than that for us. We've waited so many years now. Please, pretty please.

Marty definately rules. He showed yet more range last night with his rendition of "Wish You Were Here". That man is amazing. He's a mixture of Kurt Cobain, Iggy Pop and Mick Jagger. I can't get enough of him.
Not only is his voice incredible, but his stage presence. And.. just look in to his eyes.. they haunt.
Mig was good, but just doesn't have the voice range of Marty. He missed quite a few notes last night.
Susie did a fine rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody, but still didn't stir any passion.
Jordis was excellent as usual.. but belongs more as a solist than a front to a band. She was my early favorite, but over the weeks, I have just been truly won over by Marty.
Sorry Ty fans, but I have to turn the sound down when he's on. I just don't like him.
One thing that disturbs me, is the voting. You can vote as many times as you want. Is that fair? So, it's not who the fans like the best, but who has a DSL line, and who has the patience to sit for the most time in the four hour window and click your choice over and over again.
P.S. Thanks for the download sites. Unfortunately, I'm still on a dial-up and can't download.

Well, since it just looks like it's the two of us on this thread Now that I've watched...
Jordis-- Imagine (Sigh. She should be brilliant with this, but who knows what will happen.)
Nope, sorry honey, that wasn't all that and a box of chocolates. I do like her, but it just wasn't worth that level of Binxie worship. YMMV. Daddy Unga rocks.
MiG-- Live & Let Die (Be still my heart, please do the Sir Paul and not the GNR version Miggy.)
Oh Miggy, Miggy. I love you, and if spoilerage is true then you were the new deal before the show ever began. So close, but darn it, he just didn't quite pull it off. I think we need to see him singing INXS from here on out, if for no other reason than I want him to.
Suzie - Bohemian Rhapsody (First song w/ choir. They focused on her OB:H rehearsal, it's either going to be bloody brilliant or the worst train wreck of the show.)
It still wouldn't surprise me if Suzie isn't still standing at the end, but it wasn't brilliant and it wasn't a train wreck. Let's see her sing some sexy INXS tune and see if we buy it or not.
TY - Can't Always Get What You Want (Oooh! Ty with the choir!)
Hey, you know what? (What?) I liked that! I did! Loved the little "what you need, what you need" toss in. Ty is JNRFOBINXS, but that's okay. Can't wait to find out what he really is right for.
JD--Suspicious Minds (can you say Elvis Impersonation Part 2? Thought you could.)
Hey! I got one right! Good bye JD.
Marty--WISH YOU WERE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's see...if the Binxies just don't get it I'll cry. They want someone to move them into the future? CHECK! Someone who can perform and command a stage? CHECK! Someone who doesn't necessarily remind us of MH? CHECKMATE!
I mean, I voted for THREE FREAKING HOURS for that performance (yep, high speed here). That was brilliant. Marty's done virtually everything they've asked of him, he responds well to criticism, and he brings his A game every time.
I love Marty so much at this point that not only want him in the bottom 3, I want the Binxies to give him something like Beautiful Girl. Game, set, match.

I'm still watching...love it! Last night's show was so good!
Ty...very steady consistant voice for me. But I can't see him being the front man for this band. He would do very well on Broadway
JD...didn't care for the Elvis song. Don't care for his attitude, but don't hate him either. Kind of 'eh...
Marty...did a great job on that song, and I do like him, but I'm tired of just watching him stand there. It was called for during that song, but he's done that for the past several weeks. Getting boring.
Jordis...over her... that's it...I'm just over her.
Mig...energetic enjoyable performance. Vocals weren't the best, but he made up for it in presentation.
Suzie...same as Mig.. I loved her performance. Watched it a couple more times today.
I see Suzie and Mig being in the final w/ Mig winning.
