Highs
* I'm haven't quit my teaching gig, so thats always a positive.
* I haven't told any 7th or 8th graders what I really think of them, so I still have a job.
* I bought new luggage for my upcomming trips
Lows
* I dropped my frist class ever. I was taking Advance Marine Geology, at the graduate level no less, without ever haven taken Marine Geology, undergrad or any other level. When we dervived an equation for 45min, that was the final straw.
* I highly suspect cheating in one class. Which is making me upset. I'm going to be watching this class like a hawk from now on.

Hi Dotti!
I've been MIA, but I see that you found how to format your signature. Very nice!
Sallie

HIGHS & LOWS
Thanks, Sallie!
Goldendelta came to my rescue (see "Electronically Challenged") and showed me how to convert a "D" to the delta symbol.
Now, my highs and lows after a truly exhausting week:
HIGHS:
* Our magazine had our 2nd annual leadership conference (some 550 professional women attended at The Pierre hotel in NYC--and it went flawlessly!) I worked setting up the night before until 2am, was back at 5:30am, and lasted through the 8pm cocktail hour! SO-O--I get this Monday and Friday off!
* Am in the final stretches of my book proposal! My agent arrives on November 5th to present it to five (!) interested publishers that week!
* Went to a thrift shop today and found a black crepe Armani suit (in impeccable condition) for $200!
LOWS:
* Back to work Tuesday! (Just kidding--I LOVE my job!)

*Highs*
ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!
*Lows*
My homeroom is so incredibly immature that they are not allowed to have art again (the second week in a row that someone put paint on another person's clothes on purpose)

Take a look (click on photo galleries, last 3 pix): http://www.uiuctridelta.org/

I think its time to give this a bump
~Highs~
I'm going on a cruise this weekend with my boyfriend, who I haven't seen in almost 2 weeks.
School is almost done for the year (19 more school days!)
I'm moving in less than a month, and starting a new career.
~Lows~
I'm moving in less than a month. Its really more of a high then a low, but for the first time ever, I'll be leaving my home state and offically moving out of parents house. Most of the time, I've been pretending to move out (college, summers, etc) but still pretty much lived at home. I think it may be more of a low for my mom than me.
