In the meantime, has anyone been to IKEA lately? They have 14" square azure blue pillows for a huge 99¢/each!! I have a bunch, and another sister & I are going to add a ruffle to each, possibly for Bid Day. Oh, if you go to see them, they may look flat, but they fluff out well in the dryer, set on (surprise!) "fluff".

IKEA also has azure blue throws, 67"x(oops!) 40"?, for $2.49/each. I got a couple of those to see what I can do with them; Buffy's going to a "Bichon Bash" next month and needs to take a giftie or two for Small Paws Rescue. I'm thinking of either putting paws around the edge, or at least one in each corner. I'm sure that a diamond could just as easily be sewn on each corner or around the edge!

I'm just loving the fact that they're so inexpensive!! The other colors are much more!

IKEA just opened (Aug. 3rd) here in Dallas. I'm dying to go, but I'm not about to go and stand in line to enter the store. I'll be waiting a month or two before I go!

You'll love it! But you have to know prices to begin with, so you know if what you're thinking of buying is a bargin or not. One thing that I immediately thought Pref Party! when I saw it was a set of four votive holders - for $1.50!!

The time before last, I got 6 unusually shaped pasteboard boxes (perfect for gifts!), a pack of 4 different colored ribbon, a computer wire holder, and one of the throws - and the total was under $10!!

Also, be sure to check out the "As Is" department (which is usually near the checkouts). I once bought a gorgeous lamp, in perfect condition, and with a new shade, it came to $12 - and it's one of the things that people ALWAYS comment on in my house!

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!

Okay, Giftie time!!

Have y'all seen the 2005 ADPi Ornament:

I love it, but I'm such a yellow gold person, I'm trying to justify it!

Also, some of the past ornaments are on sale at the Gift Mart.

And if you're unsure about a tattoo, Gift Mart has removable ones:

The azure blue pillows & throws I mentioned above turned out even better than I expected!

They're on Overstock.com. Can you just imagine those on an ADPi Bride?!

Edited to add these, too!

I was looking up a bridal registry, and found that there's a quilt ensemble named Octavia!

It's at http://www1.macys.com/catalog/produc...kType=Homepage

Bumping this up!

Just wanted to let all my sisters know about the cute ADPi themed gift bags I found.
Look at your local Target Dollar Spot- they are blue and white striped with a very cute yellow lion on the front. I would consider them a normal sized gift bag, maybe on the small side of normal. Perfect for ADPi appreciation gifts or prizes or something!
I bought out my local Target, (since they ARE only $1) and I'm thinking of going to the other one to see if they have any too!

CUTE ADPi ornaments and pin boxes made by a longtime family friend who I believe is a Zeta... anyway, she actually had a table at Convention

found a very cute Alphie necklace at nordstroms the other day. It is actually a twilight neckace but I think it looks so cute, and shows no signs of twilight-ness
