Craig, I honestly believe that anyone, man or woman, can "settle down" once they meet the right person. By the right person, I mean the person who makes them WANT to settle down.
You're gonna be mad at me, but I can definitely see you one day tiring of being a man-about-town and settling down with a nice wife and having a family. WHEN you're ready and not one second before. I just think that you're nicer than you want us all to think. So there
Oh, and I think all guys are protective of their daughters. I know Mr. KR is going to be a nightmare come true for the boys who want to take our our girls!

I love this comment...because I think this is what my father thinks of us girls (all daughters)....at least when we were younger...now I don't think he really cares all that much. I was afraid to bring guys around my father.
But also the thing of it is....you can't stop nature....I have a pretty good idea how guys think, because I belief girls think the same way too (we are just bound by societal constraints to not voice those thoughts in any way shape or form and if we do, we are automatically labeled as sluts, whores, or whatever. But that is a different discussion and in this society….I don't see it changing anytime soon.)
It is good to be a protective father...just remember you can't stop nature and the cycle you could be starting with your daughter...she will rebel....in some not so nice ways

I understand you believe that, but have you actually seen it happen?

That's what happened to me when I met my husband. I had sworn off men and didn't plan on even thinking about marriage until I was at least 30. I'm now 25 and just celebrated my 3rd anniversary.
I don't think I would have graduated from college if I hadn't of met my husband. I was heading down the wrong path very quickly!

lol Well don't make it into a male/female thing.
I never said women don't like to have sex. After they get turned out once they love having sex. When I said its our inherent nature I was referring to the fact that guys usually want to have sex earlier in life than females. Guys usually want to lose thier virginity while females tend to have reservations when it comes to giving it up for the first time. When you have a 14 or 15 year old boy who wants a piece of ass as often as he can get it, how the hell can you say he's a man-whore? Thats our inherent nature. Women usually have to be turned out by at least one guy before they start fucking a lot whether you admit it or not.
Its like this......
With men there are only 2 pieces of ass in our lives, the first and the last. Everything in between is like extra gravy at Thanksgiving, you don't really need it but you never turn it down.

Oh, my bad, I think he's a Scientologist. I remember that parts of The Firm were filmed in the Scientology buildings in Clearwater, FL.
I remember those commercials too. They showed the book all close up and while they panned out they were playing that really intense music. And don't forget the "L." that goes before "Ron" - he was the first person that I ever heard of that had an initial for his first name.

I didn't know if it was L or El. Like El Ron Hubbard makes him sound like he's a Spanish heart throb.

They are out there-- not sure where to find one. An adoption attorney might know of one. Maybe an alternative style newspaper.... Google the topic I am sure you can find plenty--- although your choices might be limited, not sure how many 6' tall surrogates are out there.
]
Keep in mind her family history too-- what if she is the just the freak of the family and is really tall, but passed along her "short genes". And there are always the girls who are short, but have tall families who end up with tall kids. Genetics can do crazy things.... remember you are tall (I said it 6'4" is tall ) your children will carry half of your genetic makeup, so they will be more than likely not be short. How tall do you want your child?
Hell Craig there are days when my boys act like shits and I would love to ship them off-- how about I send them to you---- tall, blonde hair, blue eyes, good looking kids (if i get to say that), and a 6 yr old that is already obsessed with his looks and physical apprearance. He does sit ups after dinner to avoid getting a tummy, he does push ups to make his arms bigger and about once a week asks me "how many packs do i have" ~~to translate--the kid thinks he needs a 6pack at 6yrs old.
edited to add: OMG I just offered Craig my son!!

Forget about the whole "can it be done", but why would you want to take some trash and recycle it when you can buy a brand new product?

I politely disagree
I've known my husband 10 years now (YIKES!) and it's still quite magical. BUT we have to work hard at it. It's not the same kind of "new" magical love feeling, but still magical nonetheless.
It's all about finding the right person.
