Look, I don't think it's likely that President Bush is going to refuse to see a future head of state -- no matter if he really has little or no real power -- of our staunchest ally. That just doesn't make sense.

In addition, I think it's a stretch to pull "gay bashing" out of the alleged reason -- that being divorce -- for this situation.

If that were among the "reasons" for this alleged snub, I don't think that our rather outspoken President would hide it.

He was pobably on coke when he made that decision.

I got a lot of interesting information, from people in the know, when I was on Pataki's staff in '94.
