Heres a better story, written from a more reputable site; salon.com

http://www.salon.com/news/feature/20...non/index.html

I didnt read Kitty Kelly's book, so I cant comment on that, but I bet there are a few dudes who bat for the other team workign there. They work everywhere. Its an issue becasue Bush has been so anti-gay lately. It makes him look liek a schmuck. Or at least his staff looks like a schmuck.

It was only today that I realized Scott McLellan (White House Press Secretary) was Carol Keyton Rylander Strayhorn's son. She started off as Mayor of Austin and then in 1994 got elected to the position of Texas Treasurer (a position that she worked to abolish and evolve into the controllers office) Bush won the governorship of Texas in 1994. Had a huge victory event at some hotel in Austin. A bunch of us went up there to it. Carol Keyton Rylander (later Strayhorn was added) was elected and was having her celebration across the hallway as were most all Republican state-wide candidates. They had a better party over there and the booze was flowing. So we hung out over there and watched the rest of her numbers come in. It was cool. All three of her sons were there and I knew they were her sons, just didnt exchange names or really meet them. We all just stood around and talked for brief amounts of time throughout the evening. Wow. Who ever thought that I would have met the future WH Press Secretary and didnt even know it.

There is no way I could even come up with this.

Jim Guckert, a gay prostitute and republican operative using the pseudonym of Jeff Gannon, was apparently given access to documents that revealed the identity of secret agent Valerie Plame, who was outed by Bob Novak as apparent retribution for her husband's outspokenness on some of Bush's dishonesty regarding Iraq's non-existent WMDs. Incidentally, this story was arguably first put into motion by Rush Limbaugh.

Seriously, this should be front page for a week, just on all these different points.

Oh- and Washington Post too:

shouldn't they be impeached for that....seriously, that is the second time they have tried to screw with the free press, these people are dangerous and want to get of rid pres. term limits and nationality restrictions. The reason that 35 is min. age for pres. is that in 178? 35 was old and that insurned that even if someone crazy siezed power as president, they would probably die soon thereafter no mater what happened.

That's a little cynical.

While there are some folks, I suppose, who have the maturity to run a country under thirty-five, but on the whole I'll wait for a little more experience.

Hilarious. But when is the Daily Show not funny? Jon Stewart basically cracked on the media by saying that bloggers are doing the journalists' jobs. And, of course, he made comments about Gannon owning gay military escort sites.

So much for homeland security. A man with pseudo name belonging to a newsgroup that did not exist when he was given clearance is able to access the White House.
