Hey yall...
I'm hooked on Brionna and Imani (ee'mon'nee) for a girl and Mahkai, Michael, Bryan and Chandler for a boy.
NOTE***If use your son's initials for his "ID", the boy's first and middle name have to sound good when you use the first two initials of those names for his nickname (CJ for Chandler Jamar just for example). I say this because I heard a woman call her son Al J. It sounded weird to me. Sorry for the slight putdown.
I have a friend that has a friend (are you following me) that named her daughter:
Heavenly (first) Blessing (middle)
What do you think about that?

That is quite different. I don't think i would name my daughter that but I'm sure she has a very good reason as to naming her daughter that. I wonder how her daughter will respond to her name when she gets older ...what is her nickname if she has one?

My all time favorite name is Mackenzie, suitable for both boys and girls (although my mom thinks it is the most God-awful name known to man).
Question: How do you all feel about girls with "boy" names, like Jordan, Tony, or (like a good friend on mine) Michael. Personally I like "guy" names for girls, probably because one of my nicknames in Ronny.

Nubian,
I vote for the name Taylor. My son name is Taylor St. Albert. Albert is my father's first name and St. Albert is also my brother's middle name.
I am not feeling the name Jacob. What is your father's first name? Maybe you can use your father's first or middle name for your future son's middle name.
Nubian I do not know about you, but I do not like any name that you can add La, Ta, etc. in the front of the root name.

i like boy names for girls too and mackenzie is one of my favorites i also like
Ryan for a girl.
A friend of mine has a niece named A'Precious Desire
the most unusual spelling I've seen for a name is "Khoices" (which is pronounced choices go, figure!!!) If I'm not mistaken, the letter K does not make the ch sound, am I wrong????

the names that i like are soooo off the wall. I really like the idea of guy names for girls, but at the same time i like h's and y's. I want to name my daughter, Londhyn (like the bridge) Raye or Londhyn Capri. I have been told that that was the ugliest thing, but for some reason it keeps stikin with me. But buy the time that i have children i would have probably come up with something else.
Be safe everyone.

If you think "Khocies" is um, different... wait to you hear my former bestfriend's name: Piashon, pronounced "passion". I couldn't imagine going through life with a name like Piashon or Precious; how do you take that name seriously. If my mother and father had the NERVE to name me somthing like that, I would pull an R. Kelly-- you would have to call me P. (insert last name here).

Hi all,
I love picking out names for babies. I picked out my niece's name, it is Jasmine Latrice. For a little girl, I think the name Aryel (ah-ree-el)is pretty. And for boys I like the names Sheridan, and Jordan. I like Mckenzie also. I also think a pretty name for a girl or a boy is Tristan.
Peace and Luv to you all,
Ambitious

Names are my little hobby, so I've given this a lot of thought.
If I'm into family:
Rebecca LaRue (grandmothers middle names)
Reginald Jackson (father and grandfather)
Into what sounds good
Faith Elizabeth
Grace Ireene
and
Issac Anthony
Griffin Channing
Into names with a story:
Sarah (Regina means Queen, Sarah means Princess)
Athena (Minerva sorors)
Helen (of Troy)
Corrizon Inderia (Corrizon Aquino- first woman prime minister of the phillipines Inderia Ghandi- first woman prime minister of India)
Antigone (fought the system to do right by her family)
