I'm of the personal belief that no one looks good in UGGs. I just never saw the appeal in them. Still don't. If you're an Eskimo, sure they may look hot, but otherwise no. Especially not if you try to pair them with a miniskirt.

My feeling on Uggs is the same as my feeling on men in turtlenecks. If you're skiing and you need one to keep you warm fine - if not, skip them please!!

If you're wearing a mini skirt and tube top w/ your Uggs, it's obviously not too cold out. It's like wearing a wool sweater with strappy sandals.

I kinda disagree there. My new fav bar outfit is a sweater, cordory skirt (not all that mini) and uggs. I find that the skirt keeps me cool in the bar, while the sweater/uggs keep me warm on the way into the bar or in between the bar stops.

Uggs are just about the only shoes Mr. valkyrie and I can agree on -- they're exceptionally comfortable and he thinks they're TEH HOTT. I just never, under any circumstances, will wear light beige boots with BLACK pants. That's just wrong.

I LOVE my Uggs. I didn't really have an opinion on them before, but I tried them on once to see what they hype was and I fell in love! They're so freaking comfortable. But I only wear mine with jeans as casual wear and not as like a "fashion statement".

**I think my bf got me another pair! They came in the mail, and while he was wrapping them, I ran upstairs to try to see, and I thinks I saw part of the Ugg name. But it's in a white box and the other ones that I have came in a brown box??**

ha ha ha!

I feel like Uggs have the same appeal as Birkenstocks. I'm all about wearing comfortable shoes- although I realize they are not a fashion statement.

Wow, someone was actually asking me today if I would wear them. It definitely hasn't hit Boston yet, but it sounds like it's on its way.

I'm undecided; I don't think I could pull them off though.

I never saw what the big deal was until I tried on one of my friends at a party... seriously, it's like walking on a cloud. At that point (last winter) all of the UGGs (especially size 7) were backordered until June and going for $400+ on eBay so I ordered a pair of non-UGG brand "sheepskin uggs" from Australia. I love them! They are a light blue/gray color and match my winter coat perfectly (real uggs dont come in that color) and look like the "ultra" line of UGGs. I only wear them under pants (jeans or sweats) and they are super comfy.

My bf found a pair of mens uggs on clearance at Dillards and bought them for $50 to sell on eBay. He got $100 for them
He tried them on and admitted they were very comfy but they are just not his style AT ALL. (His little bro just got UGG slippers for college though)

I don't like Uggss...and it's not because I think the boots themselves are ugly, I think the outfits that people wear them with make them look stupid.

Also, guys should NOT wear Uggs. I saw a guy the other day wearing a white fluffy jacket, a green turtle neck sweater and black warm up pants with beige Uggs. I don't know what kind of look he was going for...I'm sure he was warm but he looked like...well I don't know, but it wasn't pretty.

I duno. I thought they were pretty damn UGGly, but the more I see them, the more they grow on me. I just HATE the whole boot over the pantleg look. It reminds me of the 80s when stirrup pants were in.
