My grandma swears that cats can control you with their eyes, that's why they always catch birds, cause they got that "black majic" in them, lol.
I love cats cause they don't give a damn. Dogs to me are the fake ones, they always happy and trying to please you, but I do love me some little dogs, they will try to start something with a big dog in minute, lol.
I had 2 fish and one ate the other one, I was so upset that I flushed the other one down the toliet in anger, needless to say, my dad said "no more fish for you girl" lol.

Hey Eastcoast Sunshine...I have an APBT/SharPei mix named Rambler (female) and she's spoiled rotten by my mother and grandmother whenever they dog-sit. I'd have to say I'm most definately a dog person, and probably will always have some dog around me.

CATS!
I like dogs but I LOVE cats. I grew up with two. My baby Alex is now a grumpy old cat and is still running things at my momma's house. I have my little girl named Justice (is she an attorney's cat or what?) and she is the funniest. She loves me to death and just me. She is not mean, just a big scardy cat when it comes to other people. But she likes my boyfriend.

Neither.
If I had to had to choose, it would probably be a fish. But if I did get a dog, it would be one of those little ones that I can put in check. I've had too many bad experiences with big dogs.

Definitely CATS!! I have two lovely felined friends in my home and I wouldn't trade them for a stinky messy dog ever!

Dogs, Dogs, Dogs...
Cats are so rude. How you gonna live in my house, I pay the bills, I buy the cat food--and you own the sofa, you decide what you will and will not eat?
Dogs are cool because they depend on you and they know it. Cats are too independent.
My cousin has a cat and I swear that thing is always rolling her eyes at me.

Sorry for responding to a semi-old post, but I had to put my vote in: DOGS DOGS and more of those cute, adorable, fluffy, loyal and lovable puppy DOGS.
I have two Pomeranians and if you want to know I how I spell stress RELIEF, then they're it. They greet me so lovingly EVERY day that I get home from work, they're bright and full of energy and they try to lick my tears when I'm sad. If that's not a friend, I don't know what is...I haven't met a cat yet that meets that description!
To my babies (Hailey & Mya) I love ya!
By the way, I have to see that movie, as well as Best In Show. I heard both are hilarious.

There were pics of animals but I am too lazy to save them all and post them. . .
so just think of cute dogs as you read this
If you want someone who will bring you the paper without first tearing it apart to remove the sports section
Buy a dog.
If you want someone willing to make a fool of himself simply over the joy of seeing you
Buy a dog.
If you want someone who will eat whatever you put in front of him and never says its not quite as good as his mother made it
Buy a dog
If you want someone always willing to go out, at any hour, for as long and wherever you want
Buy a dog.
If you want someone who will never touch the remote, doesn't give a hoot about football, and can sit next to you as you watch romantic movies
Buy a dog.
If you want someone who is content to get up on your bed just to warm your feet and whom you can push off if he snores
Buy a dog.
If you want someone who never criticizes what you do, doesn't care if you are pretty or ugly, fat or thin, young or old, who acts as if every word you say is especially worthy of listening to, and loves you unconditionally, perpetually
Buy a dog.
But, on the other hand, If you want someone who will never come when you call, ignores you totally when you come home, leaves hair all over the place, walks all over you, runs around all night and only comes home to eat and sleep, and acts as if your entire existence is solely to ensure his happiness...........
Then my friend, Buy a cat!
(You thought I was talking about men didn't you!)

I've had cats and dogs as pets. I prefer DOGS!!!! Cats are too emotional for...always got an attitude with mommy over something. My dog Flash is sooooo cute. He loves when I come home from work...he sits and gives me his paw to "shake" and then he rolls over. He listens when I talk...I guess because he has no choice in the matter...lol!!!! He is just the shiz-nit!!!!

Love them both, but right now I have 2 cats named Thelma and Louise. My side of the family is the ANTI-CAT!
They always knew I loved cats but were not happy when I got a cat...that's ok...they ain't gotta come visit!

Dogs, paws down. . . (please, no stoning!)
Always have had dogs, until I moved to Florida. Dogs are selfless, give you unconditional love and can look at you and make you think that no matter what you do, it's fine and the rest of the world is wrong!
Cats on the other hand. . .
btw. . . will definitely be into the Westminster Kennel club dog show February 9th & 10th!

That car probably is! Some cats do have a straight up 'tude *lol*,
But they are little sweethearts. Their demeanor is so much like humans that its uncanny!
I love CATS!

I LOVE dogs because they will be loyal to you even if you're a lousy human being. I especially like little dogs, but right now I just don't have the time for one. When I get settled into a real job, I want a pug, another shih tzu, and a maltese.
I think cats are beautiful but I'm just not a cat person. I had a cat for ONE DAY a few months ago. I named him Hercules. He was a 6 week old white kitten w/ green eyes and he scared the crap out of me. Eeew, just the way cats move and the way he was crawling all over my bed and scratching me cuz he couldn't control his nails. I didn't give him a chance but maybe I'll try handling a cat again later on.

Definitely dogs!!!
Cats are creepy! My friend had 2 in college. When I'd visit her they'd be climbing and peeing all over everything. They'd be on top of the cabinets, climbing down the curtains, they'd shot across the room out of no where, sneaking around etc.etc.Cats are also finiky. They only come around when they want to be bothered. Hell Nah! I couldn't deal w/ that.
With a dog, you pretty much know where it is at all times.Dogs are loyal, loving and protective. Also you can train them to obey commands. They won't be climbing the ceiling either. I love my dog,Piston.(hey, I'm from Detroit!)
My pumpkin is the bomb! and he's very protective of his mommy!
