Thumbs up

You guys have named mainly all of the good oldies. I used to love "Let's Dance" and Sweet Dreams". Annie Lenox could blow!!!
I liked Robert Palmer when he came out with his video "Addicted to Love" (remember the women with the suits and guitars??).

c&c 1913, I used to rock my Samantha Fox "Naughty Girls" with Bow-Legged Lou!!!

I also loved:
"Total Eclipse of the Heart"
"Walk Like an Egyptian"

I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one who likes some white groups and their music It's great to see that it's okay to be diversified in our tastes in music. I attended a predominately white high school, a HBCU (SC State University)for undergrad, and a mixed university (Webster University) for grad school so I got a taste of both worlds so to speak. I was into KC and the Sunshine Band (when they were out), Darryl Hall & John Oates, Karen Carpenter (now she's old-old school), David Bowie, Adam Ant, the Eurethimics (exuse the spelling), the band that sings "Black Velvet", Pat Benetar, Stevie Nicks (she's an ALL-TIME favorite. I still enjoy her songs), Journey, Madonna, and the list can go on and on.

Speaking about more music:
Motley Crue: Home Sweet Home, Wild Side, Kick Start My Heart, Without You

Everyone:

How about Jefferson Starship: We Built This City On Rock and Roll something like that

This is gonna throw yall, what about disco music? I wasn't even alive at the time, but the Bee Gee's were jammin. If any of you all have ever watched Saturday Night Fever or Staying Alive, yall will know what I'm talking about.

WOW!!!!

I didn't expect to get so many responses!!! Now I don't feel so Bad now that I know that you guyz used to (or in my case STILL) listen to this kind of music!!!

Do you remember Elton John's Sad Song? (I think it went "Sad Songs Say So Much)

And Billy Joel's Uptown Girl, We didn't Start the Fire,

Cover Girls "We can't go wrong"

Eagles "Hotel California"

Tears For Fears "Shout"

The girl who sung "Funkytown

And do any one knows who sung the song I can't think of the title but it goes like this"

Get on Bus, Gus
Make a knew Plan, Stan
Just listen to me

Or something like that.... I can't remember who sung it, but I LOVE that song,

Also Men at Work (Who can it be Now)

"Our House in the Middle of the Street"

Whip it Good"

Putting on Rix) I think that's it, does anyone remeber this one, In the video it was a White Guy tapping!!!

And the List Goes ON!!!!

Hey East Coast - I recognize a few. I grew up in DC but I was in the Columbus, Ohio in the early 80's. I remember the "Shy-Shy" song and "Don't turn around - uh oh!"

I am going to blast my white music tonight while I finish my laundry and I don't care if my neighbors don't like it -- they think I'm strange anyway.
