Oops, sorry about the earlier boo-boo.

Yes, Dr. Rice is a minority, African-American. She is the first African-American to hold the title of Provost at Stanford as well as the youngest and first female. She is very active in government and she also spoke at the 2000 Republican National Convention. Her speech was great. Sorry you missed it.

Someone once told me that Miss Canada 1991, Juliette Powell is in Alpha Omicron Pi. (NPC sorority). Here she is:

She is now a VJ with MuchMusic (Canada's answer to MTV).

I don't think Natalie Cole is a Delta. That's my first time hearing that.

Brenda Joysmith is so sweet. I met her at our National Convention. She told me that she was a proud Honorary member of Sigma Gamma Rho. She is so talented. I love what she's doing with the figurines. She's from my hometown of Memphis.

I was wondering about Cathy Hughes after reading the feature on her in Ebony. She is da bomb. BTW, Radio One is doing alot of hiring for those in Communications.
