Does anyone have any suggestions for a man's electric shaver? I'm looking to buy one for my fiancé. Thank you in advance.

So guys, let me get this straight...are electric razors for wusses? I didn't think they were, but my boyfriend's been all worried lately ever since he found out he's the only one among his friends that uses one (I'm guessing they made fun of him, I don't know). So he went out and bought a Mach3 and all these shaving creams, but now when he uses this regular razor there's little patches of hair left everywhere. It's funny, but I just don't see the big deal. Am I missing something?

Honestly, from my experience, my advice would be...don't. My mom got me one that was on sale for $100(?) and it couldn't shave like a blade. Too slow and couldn't cut it close enough. Just my .02.

Ditto, and glycerin soap with a brush instead of shaving cream.

And no mirror -- I shave in the shower. The steam works like the the hot washclothes barbers used to use.

Yes. (Just kidding . . . a little.)

I agree with JonInKC. I've never come across an electric razor that can shave as close a blade. Plus it's a real hassle trying to keep them clean enough to do an even half-way decent job of shaving.
