I'm sure you will be excused from a night of recruitment or day or whatever for class. NEVER skip class for recruitment!

if its well known that students have class during recruitment (which we did during informal, but not formal- that was on the weekends), just let your Rho Chi or whoever know, and it wont be used against you. We understand that school comes first, and I bet a lot of sisters themselves miss some recruitment parties for their classes (or they should be, anyways). I always regretted skipping classes for sorority related activities.
