Sorry to crash but I just wanted to say Congrats to you Andrea on your new advisory position at the ADPi chapter at Mount Union. Mount has a great Greek system there and I wish that someday our Alpha chapter (not our first but one of the first) would recolonize there.

I am getting excited-- my 1st board meeting is one week from today! I will let all of you know how it goes-- also a greekchatter is the Standards Chair there (I believe she has not posted in a while though)!

My, how time flies when you're out of college, but put me right back in a chapter meeting and it's like I was just there last week!

I am off to go and get ready for my 1st Advisory Board meeting tonight! So excited-- yet so nervous since I have no clue how to get there!! haha I will let you all know how it went tonight!!

Well I went to the board meeting tonight-- everyone is so wonderful and sweet!! It is definitely not going to be an easy job-- but I know I can do it!! Mount Union definitely has a strong chapter/sisterhood and that makes it even better!!

You know what is so funny though about this--

Yesterday I started a new job at an art studio-- and I work in sales. I was so nervous to go there because I have never done any retail work-- and when I left I was very overwhelmed but felt confident I learned alot!!

Today I started my position as an advisor for ADPi-- and I was/am very involved with ADPi so I felt comfortable with the whole idea. I was not nervous at all going there because I knew we had a common bond-- and when I left there I was more overwhelmed than I was with a brand new job doing something I have never done before!! haha

I know the girls and the chapter advisor will be such a big help in the beginning-- such a wonderful group of women!!
