I've seen Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Joseph, and Phantom, and I've performed from just about all his shows.

Ahem... he's now Lord Lloyd-Webber - he was granted a life peerage by Queen Elizabeth II a few years ago in 1997. (A life peerage is more prestigious than a knighthood, as a title is actually created in the rank of Baron or Baroness and the honoree becomes eligible for membership in the House of Lords.

Like a knighthood, life peerages are not inheritable and cease to exist upon the death of a life peer.

So, I have a question for you then...because I've always wondered this...what exactly is the order of ranks and what do they all mean??? (Ex. Duke/Dutchess, Baron/Baroness, Marquee/Marquesses)

King/Queen
Prince/Princess
Duke/Duchess (in German, Herzog/Herzogin)
Marquess/Marchioness
Earl/Countess (in German, Graf/Gräfin)
Viscount/Viscountess
Baron/Baroness (most Life Peers are created at this rank) (in German, Freiherr/Freifrau)

Baronets are not considered peers.
