I concur. Hooters wings are the best I've had so far.

For true BUFFALO wings and other flavors...
La Nova's in Buffalo NY. Un-Bee-Lee-Va-Ble!
These are the best wings I have ever had. Favorites are the buffalo wings (duh!) and the bar-b-q. La Nova's

Popeye's wings are great, but I get down wit Go Chicken Go's chicken. We have a place in KS called wing stop. They have every type of spice and sauce you can put on wings. You obviously create your own, so if you're good at spice, your wings should be the bomb, too.

You should have tried Sal's Birdland on Lake Ave. Those are some good wings.
As far as Buffalo (NY), I know this place across the street, I think from Buffalo General Hosp. (It's almost where you get on I-90) has some pretty decent ones too.
