hey guys. sorry that i did not reply between moot court competition, school, and planning pre-rit i've been pretty busy. i know you are all busy as well and i really appreciate you taking the time to post replies and help me along with pre-rit. like you mentioned having not seen ritual, it does present an interesting problem. i've been working with andy and we've come up with pretty good list of brotherhood activities. if anyone of you were really interested i could email you. im guessing from some of your replies that it would not be smart to post about it here?? well pre-rit officially starts tomorrow at 6pm tomorrow. so thanks again for your help, and i look forward to talking to you in the future.

I'm more than willing to help with anything but I've just gotten cautious with how much I'm willing to talk about with people. We do something called Sharing of the Light that I talked to him about. It was created by Doc Dirghalli EM270. It is a great time of fellowship and brotherhood. I also sent him some other things. Who will be doing the initiation for the colony?

Tell them all good luck.
The sharing of the brotherhood is my FAVORITE activity like that EVER. Saw it at leadership seminar in '93 and ALWAYS looked forward to it. it was the highlight of LS for me the 3 times I went as an undergrad. I Still remember some of the stories I heard there and its been over 10 years. Didnt know brother Dirghalli was the creative force behind it. He truely is an amazing man. After his keynote speech at the GA in Indy in '94 (the seed speech) I realized what a gift he has been to LXA.

Friday night I will be facilitating a sharing of the brotherhood at a bonfire. I CANT WAIT. I am really looking forward to seeing rit through their eyes. I have been blessed by my experience with LXA. The more I give, the more I receive indeed.

UT-San Antonio and St. Mary's University will be facilitating the initiation. Check your PM's.

Doc just spoke at our 70th Aniversary celebration and gave the same speach. I can't express how luck guys at my chapter are to get to hear him, especially in a room with less than a 100 people, and then to get to sit and talk and drink with him. He'll be at our Initiation this weekend and at our Celebration of Life.

Just initiated 23 founding fathers into the colony at the University of the Incarnate Word. It was amazing and inspiring. The sharing of the brotherhood was a perfect end to pre-rit and ended things on a positive note. The guys really got to know AND understand the perspective each came from. I am still recovering from being so strung out crazy last week - but it was definately WELL WORTH IT.

Thanks for everyones words of encouragement.
