"larger" ladies who wear "smaller" clothes-I mean if it actually fits and you feel comfy in it, well ok then, but if it is meant for a smaller lady-DON'T squeeze yourself into it. My favorite comment from a guy friend was "honey, just cuz they MAKE it in your size, doesn't mean you should wear it."
Yep, thats my superficial thing.

PANTY LINES....no one should EVER EVER EVER have them. I can't stand it when people have them and I totally have negative thoughts about the person. Yes...slightly neurotic...but oh well...

I'm sure this will stir the pot, but obvious thong lines. Yes, this does exist! This can occur when your clothes are entirely too tight or you wear a thong that is darker than your light colored pants.

I agree. By a thong in YOUR size. I hate when women get a thong two sizes too small and it makes a huge indentation as well..

I think I have a few too many to post, but the top of the list is
hoochie type clothing. You might be the last remaining virgin on earth, but if you wear clothes that scream slut-that's what I see, a slut. I like sexy clothing, but there is a difference.

I'll add tattoos! Sorry, I'm still old school where those are concerned. The tiny, private ones don't bother me.........too much.

- Panty lines are gross! They invented thongs for a reason. Use them.
- If you have double D's, do not buy your tank tops in a size extra small. There is no way in hell your boobs will fit into it.
- Tattoos anywhere but in an inconspicuous place. (ie- lower back is ok, upper arm is tacky)
- Excessive body piercings.
- Bad breath. This is my biggest pet peeve. If you've just eaten something nasty and can't brush your teeth for whatever reason, please spare us all and just grab yourself a piece of gum. Thanks.

It's the same principle as wearing red velvet in July. It's a clothing/season mismatch.

I am incredibly superficial about bad teeth.
Many times, people who have teeth that never grew or are broken/oddly spaced apart are like that because they didn't have proper flouride treatments as a kid. Now that most communities have flourigated water, it kind of makes me think white trash.

Incredibly bitchy/superficial, but that's what this thread is about.

Oh, that is such a pet peeve of mine!! And by the way, I'm a big girl myself, so it's not like I am making fun of the big girls per se. But ....
SISTER, PLEASE!! There are nice looking clothes in larger sizes. Do a little shopping and find some!!

Stan,

As a general rule, women start wearing white (and by white I mean anything below the waist like shoes, pantyhose, pants, skirts, or dresses...) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. White blouses, shirts, or sweaters are fine... It's the white below the waist or covering the entire body that is the issue.

Yes, I have learned it is primarily a Southern thing. But, it just looks plain tacky when a women wears white shoes and pants in November.

Post Wearing white

Although I'm a native SoCal, I still don't wear pure white pants, dresses, skirts and shoes (especially, since my shoe size is 10 and only certain white shoes look OK on those of us w/large feet) and skirts after Labor Day unless it's for certain types of business. I usually start with white on the first day of spring rather than wait for Memorial Day.

I was raised by an Eastern- and Southern-reared mother and sister, so I learned a long time ago to lay off the bleach/stark white in what passes for winter in LoCal. Winter white and ivory are good year-round alternatives for me.

I am SO with you on these!

Interestingly, many of the guys I know think that a subtle panty line is exciting - forbidden fruit, or something like that.

Thank you all for explaining the white to Stan, AND for bringing up the velvet after Valentine's Day! Without our little "rules", this country would be headed to hell in a handbasket!

Let's add: dark hose with light-colored shoes! Yuck, yuck, yuck!!
