I still don't understand the deal w/ Manolos. They're pretty, but as far as wearing them goes...they're just like the rest, and definitely not worth what they go for these days. I "borrowed" my sister's pair once, and the whole time I was scared that the heel was going to come loose.

But then again this is coming from a girl who owns 12 pairs of REEF flip flops.

These are just something else entirely, and I find them scary.

These last two are Dyeable Luctie...one is called "Spice" would one wear it while on the Spice channel? I must be a snobby uptight prude, but most Luctie shoes are really ummm, exotic dancerish. Since they are dyables, who wants stripper shoes at their prom or wedding?

I am all about the flip-flops. I would wear flip-flops 365 days a year if it didn't snow.

I can't stand Charles David. Rude sales clerks and I swear, they size their shoes differently than anyone else. i never have to pay attention to the width of my shoes, b/c my feet are of average width. they tried to tell me that i had fat feet and they didn't carry wide widths. It took all of my strength to not throw some shoes at that hefferino!

It's been quite some time since I bought myself a pair of new shoes. Can't go wrong with a pair of comfortable tennies.

OK...I had a pair of Charles David boots once....the very first time I wore them, the heel broke. I swear I am NOT overweight AT ALL! It was so weird! The heel just broke off---I'd only had them on for like 20 minutes

I got last year's version of these in black - the leather isn't ruched and there's a cute little bow on the toe - I love em!

I'd love a pair of Tod's driving moccasins (not necessarily in this style) but they're narrow so they make my lower half look like a funnel.

I got these Docs for Christmas and they're my new favorite right now.

Shoes

I'm a handbag aficionada, but of course, can't resist some good shoe deals. Don't have any Manolos yet...passed up a pair for less than $200 at Neiman's Last Call because I need to make my car payment.

In terms of others, I like Kate Spade's pointed mules with the kitten heels. Mine are shaped like this: http://i7.ebayimg.com/02/i/01/33/b3/18_1.JPG
But the pattern is like this:
http://i3.ebayimg.com/01/i/01/29/83/4a_1.JPG
I also like Michael Kors (two pairs of sandals), Isaac (the bridge kind, not the Tarjay kind), Ferragamo, Tod's driving loafers (three pairs) and Ralph Lauren Collection shoes. For everyday wear, I have a grip of Ann Taylor and Banana Republic shoes. Shoes don't have size issues.
