I don't really enter myself in drawings, but the biggest thing I've won is a $100 gift certificate at Target that my friend happened to enter me in. But it was before Target is supersweet like it is now, so I didn't use it on anything good. I've got business cards now, so maybe I'll start dropping them in more fishbowls.

Now that is lucky!

I am not a lucky person at all but last week I won tickets to a small concert with Sarah McLachlan. I local radio station was putting it on and only 100 people were at the show. It was fun to be that close and not have thousands of people around.

Russell, if you never again win anything in your lifetime you'll still be ahead with a windfall like that!!! I paid more than that for my crappy little place in Park Slope (but I loved it anyway) in the early nineties

i'm lucky in some ways- I've won 4 pairs of concert tickets, 4 pairs of early screening movie passes.
Also I've been lucky to be not seriously injured in the 4 accidents i've been in.

I don't usually win things except for these two times when I won a $50 gift certificate to a restaurant and a DVD player. The incident with the DVD player was quite cool. I bought some raffle tickets and then decided to buy a few more during the part where the big prizes were being raffled off. And what do you know...I won a digital camera! Then one of my friends won the DVD player. I'm still old fashioned at heart and didn't really feel the need to won a digicam just yet. He offered a trade and it worked out for both of us because he already had a DVD player and really needed a digitial camera whereas I didn't have a DVD player. Besides, my whole family can enjoy the DVD player. Next time maybe I'll win a digicam or someone will give me one as a gift.

exactly, for all I know, they could have dumped them all out in the parking lot and counted them out there without washing their hands while just getting over the flu.
