I hate people that sit and talk on their cell phones in the movie. Anyone can forget to turn it off, but to sit and chat is just stupid.

Yeah he does. But I think he only did in responce. I wouldn't want to let either one of them in my theatre

Maybe Im just one of those old fashioned people who thinks stabbing is a bad think, but my goodness! You don't stab someone Period! Even if they "had it coming". People should have enough control and not resort to that type of violence. I can see getting in a physical fight, but its sad when a cell phone ring leads to a knife being plunged in someone elses body.
Overall, people need to just have a little Respect. If the cell phone guy had remembered to turn off his damn cell phone, this wouldnt be a freaking headline. I HATE when cell phones go off (especially in Class! ) err!!

I think it is dead, but I'm not sure the story relates to it. The guy who wouldn't take his feet off the seat is rude, yes, but he didn't deserve to get stabbed. The guy who stabbed seems a tad unstable!

I agree w/ Imthachamp, it is... the other day, I tried to give my seat to a nice lady on the train, and she yelled at me. SHe asked me if she looked handicapped. I said "no". she said "sit back down you male chauvinist pig." I sat back down.

I doubt the majority of women are like that. I think I'd marry the guy who was a gentleman because they are so rare.

I get around the same response - I try to be the 'gentleman' and open doors for ladies, etc. and most of the time I get a suprised look and a thank you

I think it chivalry is on a long vacation in a undisclosed location. As for that incident, good manners and commonsense had gone down the toilet. If you are going to the movies, leave your VCR etiquette where it belongs - your home. Turn off your phones and pagers, no talking and don't put your feet on the back of someone else seat. Are we clear on this? Thank you!!!!!

I've said this before and I'll say it again. I have no idea where the heck you all live that guys are rude or don't get up. People rag on NYC people being rude and I've never once seen an old person stand and I often see guys get up for women.

I think I might have been tempted to reply, "Terribly sorry, my mistake, I thought you were a lady!
