As you know, I love the Daddy. But I did find this article bizarre and strange.

Second Serving: Ron Isley’s protégé’s JS (Johnson Sisters) are releasing a new single this week called “Love Angel.” The ubiquitous R. KELLY produces the track, and the music video was recently shot in Chicago. R. Kelly makes a cameo in the video.
In other JS news… It’s no secret by now that the 62-year old Ron is dating 24-year-old JS singer Kandy Johnson. Note to De6: There's hope for you yet. Ron also managers Kandy and sister Kim, who also sang background for The Isley Brothers on recent tours. For whatever reason, most people don’t realize that Ron and Angela Winbush have been divorced for more than two years.

> ok, now what would you REALLY do if Prince knocked on your door?
PRINCE HITS THE PULPIT
Singer trades sexy moves for Jehovah Witness stroll *Could you imagine Prince tapping on your door, bible in hand, with Larry Graham in tote asking if he can come in and share some scripture?" Sounds like a bad dream after a late night of Taco Bell, but that's the latest on the eccentric entertainer according to UK website PeopleNews.com.
Prince has joined Jehovah's Witness and is spreading the good news everywhere he can. He was last seen in Eden Prairie, Minneapolis, on the doorstep of one, identified only as Rochelle. She said that he turned up and was invited in along with Larry Graham of 70's group Graham Central Station, but better known for his solo debut "One In A Million You." But, soon after they were invited in, they were asked to leave. She said, 'I told him, "You know what? You've walked into a Jewish household, and this is not something I'm interested in." Their attempt to spread the word was further ruined by the Minnesota Vikings game that was airing on TV at the time of their visit.

Queen Latifah Stays Busy
(10/17/03, 3 p.m. ET) -- Actor and rapper Queen Latifah is a busy woman these days. The Grammy Award-winning star is presently in Los Angeles filming her role as a cabbie opposite Jimmy Fallon in Taxi. Latifah has seven films slated to hit theaters within the next year including: Scary Movie 3, Barbershop 2, Taxi, Beauty Parlor, Bad Girls with Jada Pinkett Smith, My Wife Is A Gangsta, and Cookout, a film the star is producing.
Recently Latifah shared some of the details of her forthcoming rap album with New York's Daily News. One of the more touching songs is "The World," which is semi-autobiographical. Latifah said, "The first verse is autobiographical, talking about how I was molested as a child. I didn't know how to tell my parents and it really messed with me emotionally and in terms of my ideas of sexuality. I had parents who explained these things to me, but it happens to you at 5 years old, you can't seem to get it out of your mouth, like, 'Hey, this guy did this me.' You know?"
In addition to the rap album, Queen Latifah will be releasing an album of standards recorded with pop producer Arif Mardin. The album will be followed by a fall tour and a DVD documenting the tour.
The multi-talented Latifah is also developing a television series, Mali Anderson, with CBS about a female private detective in Harlem who is forced to adopt a child. I have read the books that they are basing this show and she was not forced to adopt her nephew. His parents died and Mali helps raise him along with her dad.
The talented star will take a break from all of her commitments to host the inaugural Vibe magazine Vibe Awards on November 21.

What R&B Singer Wants To Be Down?
Friday, October 17, 2003
We hear 50 Cent got a lil something XXXtra from a certain R&B vixen that appears in one of his videos. Word on the block is that the singer "wanted to be down" so bad that she actually went down! According to this senseless rumor, there is also a videotape of the singer doing some compromising things floating around. We won't name names, but we almost had a copy of the tape. But remember..."almost doesn't count!"

This one is toooo easy, lol. But at least I know who it is. When I saw the video, it raised suspicion in me too.

She gets around huh?? basketball players, R&B singers, rappers, producers -- she is a little bit faster than I thought. Maybe she has an album coming out and she wants to get some pub before the album hits the stores.

If Queen does a jazz/standards CD, I'll buy it. She's the type of singer who could make it back in the day when singing mattered -- yes, I'm referencing Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald.
