Here at Kent, we have 3 options. Two are local bookstores and one is Sports N Duds our greek merchandise store.

At my undergrad at Univ. of Tulsa, the bookstore carried a few things--accessories, and stationary mainly. For clothing and everything else, we had a greek store near campus. Also, about once a month, there would be travelling greek clothing reps that just set up a display of t-shirts, sweats, jackets, etc in the house and you could buy right from them.

I went there my freshman year, '99-'00, then transfered -- just wasn't the place for me.
A junior in the new DZ chapter, eh? You must know Bara then! She was one of my good friends when I was there, and I was so excited for her when she told me about the new chapter

i never even realized some book stores carried greek stuff. ours doesn't but it makes sense because while we have about 12 GLO's they range in size from 5-30 members so they probably wouldn't make to much money off of us. We have to schlep out 30-40 minutes to Long Island to get stuff.

I wish they would open a greek store in Manhattan, i would think it would make so much money from all the actives in the colleges in nyc plus all the alums that live in manhattan. plus i don't drive so its much easier to get into the city than out to long island :-(
