What's causing your anger/depression can determine what solution might help it.

Therapy and meds can help if you're chemically imbalanced, but if your depression is caused by something or SOMEONE, IMO the two won't do much to help. I'm not stating that as a fact, it's just my opinion and experience with this sort of thing. I do get the impression that your problems are being caused by something or someone, rather than a chemical imbalance (my observation might be wrong here). If it is that, then you have to figure out how to solve the problem(s) that "something" or "someone" is giving you. Unfortunately, sometimes you cannot solve the problem(s), in that case run away from it until you gain your "sanity" and perspective back.

I agree with the working out thing. Whenever I am having a bad day (or week or whatever), I either go running or do Tae-bo. If I am running, I think about what's bothering me and what I need to do to change it. My anger usually makes me run further and faster and I generally feel less stressed. Tae-bo is a great release also. I always pretend that I am actually kicking and punching someone! It helps release the stress also.

Whatever you decide to do, I hope you are feeling better.
