Secondly, I posted here because I was told since Delta Sigma Theta has so many chapters this would likely be the organization that could direct me to resources to find this information. I was told that Delta Sigma Theta would be friendly and more than willing to answer any of my simple questions. Obviously I was misinformed.
Lastly, I do not know De6. I have only been here for a few weeks and this is the only forum I have posted on.
Since my post was previously deleted I am under the assumption that having an opinion or not as we like to say "Kissing Behind" isnt acceptable on this forum. Though I have the upmost respect for this organization I will not be disrespected just because you wear letters and I do not. Being Greek does not make you better than anyone else, and NO ONE will talk to me as if they have some type of higher moral standard.

Sweetie,
1) Your original question asked for ALL active chapters. It did not state just collegiate chapters. That is why you were asked the purpose of your request. In Delta alone that would be a listing of over 800 names. Add that to the list of all the NPHC sororities and you are talking about thousands of names. With that kind of request, it sounded as if you wanted to do a mass spamming of the chapters.
2) After you clarified that you wanted it for school purposes, then it appeared as if you were making the existence of NPHC sororities a main priority for choosing a school. To us this was not cool because all of the NPHC sororities stress academic excellence with a first priority of obtaining a degree.
3) Our sister sorors of AKA have a chapter locator on their national website. So it didn't sound plausible that you had done research yet missed their website.
4) The question about DeRe was tongue in cheek. Those who read AKA Avenue will know what I was talking about
5) When was your post deleted? You were NOT disrespected. And yes we do have a higher moral standard if that means that we think getting a college education is more important than joining a sorority. Especially since joining in college is not the only option. I bet your parents have the same higher moral standard.
6) Okay, you stepped in it--I'll chalk that up to you being a newbie--now wash yourself off, check the attitude and come on back to posting. But a piece of advice, take some time to read all the Divine 9 boards so you get a flavor of how we do it on here.
