Docetboy, normally I like you...we're both Kansans/Nebraskans (you started in Nebraska, I started in Kansas and then we switched), and your a Husker fan at heart but...I as the creator this thread have hearby banned you from this thread. One more negative post and you're seriously getting the flaming of a lifetime. I swear on all that is holy...

!

You gotta know ALL the Republicans are lurking and ready to POUNCE when the time is right!

My honest hope is that Ralph DOES get the nomination! (hee-hee-hee)
Sistermadly-I just hope *some* democratic candidate -- I don't care who -- makes himself her herself known well enough to be a viable candidate. Of course, there's always my boy Ralph in 2004...

I liked him too...but that was many, many emission tests ago!(I really do like his stand on trade. )

Get the kids and the dogs, its time to go burn a flag for Johnny boy!

Wow. That is all I can say. I am working on the John Edwards campaign and we are NOT burning any flags. I am somewhat offended by that, but hey.... I can take it as much as I can dish it

I am a VERY PROUD Democrat. Always have been and always will be. I however respect all political backgrounds and even our President (past and present). I just wish others would do the same.

Hey, chill out. Sheesh, I honestly don't mind those who have no respect for Clinton or Edwards. Actually, I don't care. The important thing it that I DO care, and that's all that matters for me anyways.

I am a Southerner, I hear what you said ALL the time. I'm used to it. It's not like I haven't heard it before. However, you were very funny I swear I am the ONLY Democrat girl I know down here. Besides Tipper, of course

This is directed to all of you:

..... If I wanted to support a person who is a cross dressing, mudwrestling, beer bellied, alchoholic, crack smoking, yoga instructor....then that's my choice. That's why I love being an American.

There's me! And my entire family! Well, I'm not so much a Democrat as I am a liberal feminist (yes, I will wear both of those labels as proudly as the Republicans on this board are doing for their affiliations!) who will vote for anyone who I feel has my best interests at stake. I have no problem with voting regardless of party lines--I supported the Chafees of RI, who are Republicans (but ones who actually respect the environment), vote for Dems in Florida, and am proud to say I voted my conscience in 2000!

Sistermadly, here's hoping Ralphie will run again! The book about his campaign is really good--a dry, boring read, but contains enough information to shut up the naysayers.

All I know so far is that I really don't like Howard Dean. I'm personally excited for the mayoral election in Milwaukee in 2004, and excited that I will be doing an internship in DC right before the election.

And keep slinging the Republicrap around - I grew up, and am back in, the 2nd most Republicrappy county in this fabulous country. I've heard it all before.

Hi. Thought about it, and it still makes no sense.

For some, the act of burning (or otherwise desecrating) a flag is an expression of distress . It doesn't just mean that you disagree with what America stands for - it means that as an American citizen your right to peaceful protest that doesn't hurt anyone else is safeguarded -- even if that protest is against everything I personally stand for.

Take it from me -- every time I see a man in front of an abortion clinic holding up a sign that calls women "d*kes" or "baby killers", I want to clock him one, but I don't, because he has a right to express his opinion, just as I have a right to hang a flag upside down or use it to roast marshmallows if I see fit.

But then, I'm just one of those liberal feminists who are ruining this country.

*walks off humming "O Canada" to herself*

Yeah, I read it a little while ago. He's an amazingly intelligent man, but unfortunately, the country isn't ready for most of his political ideas (although we have him to thank for emissions tests and forcing automobile manufacturers into making safer cars).

You don't have to be offended that you are supporting a man who supports such things. It is your choice after all.

And I am sorry, but I have ZERO...make that NEGATIVE ZERO respect for Bill Clinton -- anyone who got hummers while sitting at his cushy oval office desk that MY taxes paid for, has no respect for himself or this country. And to tell a blatant lie which he was later caught in regarding the sexual act (or lack thereof since he said he didn't do it), makes my respect-o-meter completely crash. He was an insult to this country, and enjoyed the economy that was set in place BEFORE he became President. He was just a moocher -- getting smooched on his little mooch.

Let me know what time the grill gets fired up and mamma-n-'em will be on over after they finish up at the Wal-Marts...
Wow, Joseph STalin would be proud of you.

Hmm who is better a president that has oral sex with a woman other than his wife and lies about it or a president that used to be a coke head and alcoholic that only barely got by in college?

Neither of them are great but of course republican will say Bill is worse because they are republicans. What Bill did is between him and his wife. No Mr. former drugie is now fighting a war on drugs that he used to take. Hypocritcal wouldn't you say.

Oh yah the war. Where are the weapons of mass destruction? First, it is they have it, then its we haven't found them yet , but will. Now its they probably destroyed them before the war, but we will find the documents. Nothing at all as of yet, because if there was it would be plastered all over Fox news. Yes it is good we got Sadamn out of office but that wasn't the main reason for the war. No even some Republicans are not sure the 200+ american lives were worth it.

Ok, and if you Rebulicans want to support a guy that lies so we can go to war to make himself look better in the polls and pulls us out of enviormental treaties because big buisness wants them to, go ahead. I mean its only the enviroment who cares its all easly replacebale right ? Least we can get some cheap gas out of it!

*ends rant*
