EVERYbody mimicked the characters from Welcome Back Kotter-I did my student teaching during this time.
"Up your nose with a rubber hose" Horshack-ooo ooo ooo (Drove me nuts to see all those hands in the air and hearing kids going "ooo-ooo-ooo". Though it was funny...at first.)

I honestly think the "F" word became a full blown adjetive in
the '60's.

i absolutely hate the phrase "cool beans"

beans arent cool - they never were. and i have to work with a guy in his mid-50's who uses that phrase after almost everything you say to him.
