First off..... It was originally Michael Ricks idea from the Detroit Lions and Terril admitted it. Ricks did a fake autograph signing after a td but the difference is.... Ricks is a nobody and that game wasn't played on national tv.

Second.... Owens didn't get fined for that, but he gets fined for having his shirt tucked out in that game. As the hurricane would say, Whatsupwitdat?

Whoever brought up Koren Robinson doing it- He'd have to get in the end zone first. LMAO

In the extreme stupidity department: Anyway, the players get fined for all sorts of stupid uniform infractions, including but not limited to: Untucked shirts, wrong color socks, slouching socks, etc. They actually have people on the sidelines checking the players out. Players get fined all the time, it just happens so often that it's rarely a news item.

You know, I'm pretty impressed that he didn't stab himself in the foot while running down the field. I'm not so sure I could accomplish such a feat (hahaha, no pun intended!)

TTT/Owens is an odd guy

From the San Jose Mercury News. This is being discussed on Jim Rome's show as I type this. It's odd that a man who wears tights during his workout is discussing people's sexuality.

The world according to T.O.

New Eagles receiver Terrell Owens has complained about contact in practices and Coach Andy Reid's requirement that players wear shorts over their tights. In this month's Playboy ``20 Questions,'' Owens offers some predictably contrarian -- even contradictory -- answers. Some excerpts:

First question: Why didn't you fight the league for free agency and thus get a bigger signing bonus?

First answer: It's not all about the money. I'm pretty sure I missed out on some money, but it's not that big of a deal.

Second question: What do you like best about playing for the Eagles?

Second answer: It's a brand-new start for me. People's perception of me has been tarnished by what the Bay Area media put out there. Dude, I'm a great guy. I'm a nice guy. What you see on the field is totally the opposite of what you see off the field. . . . Not only is the grass greener on the other side, but the uniform is greener, and I'm getting paid a lot more than what the 49ers were willing to pay me, so my bank account is greener.

The interview moves on to quarterbacks, and these answers will be sure to win him friends across the league:

Question: What gives an MVP quarterback like Peyton Manning the edge over a Donovan McNabb? (Oh, by the way, McNabb is Owens' quarterback.)

Answer: Probably accuracy, which is something Donovan can improve on. That's not me putting a knock on Donovan. It's not something nobody else has said. He has probably said there are things about my game that need improvement.

Question: Former 49er and current Cleveland Browns quarterback Jeff Garcia, with whom you played for years, has denied media rumors that he's gay. What do you think?

Answer: Like my boy tells me: If it looks like a rat and smells like a rat, by golly, it is a rat.

Check back in three or four years, and Morning Buzz will run excerpts of the interview in which Owens discusses how misunderstood he was in Philadelphia.

CTFU. I just think that Terrell Owens is hardly the ne plus ultra of masculinity. Michael Vick handled it very well, "I don't roll like that."

There's a thin line between plain celebrating and just plain stupid. Football is one of the most difficult sports to play at the professional level. I can't blame a DB who has just returned an interception for a touchdown for doing cartwheels in the endzone.

But you have your guys who pull out cell phones and Sharpie markers after scoring a touchdown, I mean come on!

Also, the timing has much to do with it. After scoring the game-winning score in the championship, let the boys celebrate. Week 5 of the regular season? Please...
