I hear an infamous former (now-banned) member on the radio fairly often. One of the stations I listen to plays syndicated news updates from her network a few times a day, and she usually does the ones around lunchtime. Totally threw me the first time I heard her!

Every time someone says her name, I think "Judo CHOP!"
Those were the days when GC was hopping. You could spend hours on threads because so many people were constantly posting.

So true. So true.
Back in the day, we had these really hot threads, and the thing to do was to run in and post 'IBTL' - in before the lock. Then the thread would get locked and moved to the Mod's corner.
Some of the best threads on GC were deleted from public view.
Back on topic - I could ask 'What ever happened to' 99% of the NPHC GC regulars who used to post. I think somewhere in the DST forum, this question was asked a few years ago. One answer we came up with was that most NPHC GC regulars probably moved on to other social media sites like Facebook, when it became popular.

I confess: There were days when I spent too much time reading GC and not enough time tending to my flock. To be fair, GC was deliciously interesting. My congregation, not so much.
