We're unhoused on my campus, so during Recruitment the party lists go in each chapter's mailbox at the Info Desk of the Union. This year, Theta got DG's list, DG got ours, and we got Theta's. It's bad enough when a non-Greek mixes things up (especially considering that these had the actual words spelled out, not just the Greek letters), but the person who had been responsible for delivering the mail is a Phi Kappa Tau! You'd better imagine that he and I had words later on.

OK, don't I feel like a moron... I'd just changed my profile and have never used vB code before... had no idea how big the text would be and couldn't figure out to preview before using it.

Sorry about that!

At UM ist not to hard to get the nicknames miexd up. It seems that if you have just two letters (i.e. Sigma Pi and Sigma Kappa) you just get called by your full name. If you have three letters than you use a nickname. DG is the only exception it seems. The only real problem I have seen people have is not knowing what letter is which.

Cool @ ECU

I forgot to add that at ECU there are also 2 fraternities:
Sigma Phi Epsilon
and
Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE)

Sigma Phi Epsilon is Sig Ep
Sigma Alpha Epsilon is sometimes referred to Sig Ap (I say S-A-E)
