I have tasted old frothingslosh, and had a can of it in my room, don't know if it's still there. i left it when i moved out in may. that stuff is swill! it's the pale stale ale for the pale stale male. it was originally complete fiction, and then they started brewing it, at the pittsburgh brewing co. i think. they brewed some every year around christmas or something i think. i found some stuff on the net about it a year or so ago.
I didn't realize that. That's pretty interesting. I think that the DJ who "invented" it (in his mind) died a while ago. He was, at one time, supposed to be the most listened to jock in America.

Okay what I was told was the Miss Frothingslosh beer was retired because miss frothingslosh died! They have pictures of her in the Ober Brau house at Pittsburgh Brewing Co. They have one of her laying on a carpet in a pimping it in a bathing suit....for those of you who have seen her, you know why it's funny.
As for Augustiner, I have to agree with 33 girl. Yum! But I prefer Augustiner dark, they just started making it in bottles a few months ago. So I was in bliss, until I realized that I am poor!
