anyway, since you have a clean driving record, you may want to try this, but call your insurance company first to see if they forgive the first 2pts. if so, go to court. talk to the prosecutor and see if they'll drop your speeding to less than 15mph over the speed limit. if they do, that'll be 2 points on your license. pay the ticket. as far as your insurance, most insurance companies, even in the state of insurance extortion - nj, will forgive the first 2pts on your license. that way, your insurance rates won't change and you'll slow down next time.
otherwise, try the luck of the draw and pray that...
1. the cop doesn't show (they may just give you another court date)
2. the judge is in an extremely good mood and lets you slide
