If she is being open about her past, maybe you can find out if she plans on continuing that kind of behavior. Just because she's open about her past doesn't mean she plans on continuing down that path. A lot of people go through a "hook up" phase and then settle down. I just hesitate to judge people solely on past actions. See if she seems like she wants to act differently now, and if so, give her a chance.

Just because she has been with a lot of people does not mean that she will seek out someone's boyfriend. She may love sex and see it as a game, but that doesn't mean she has no morals. Unless you know that she can't "control" herself, I don't see why that should even figure into her being offered a bid. You can't tell me that all of your sisters are totally "pure"!

However, if she prides herself on getting other people's guys, give her the BOOT!

Every member of your sorority is an ambassador for your organization. To everyone she meets, she gives off an image of who the rest of you all are, whether you like it or not. So if she is a slut and gives that image, then you are saying that you wouldn't mind if someone thought that you were a slut. I know that it is cruel and unfair, but that is how it works. New members are supposed to build you up, not drag down your reputation. And if reputations were not important to everyone, then why do we get upset when we hear about MTV doing a story on a sorority? People believe what they hear...think about it.

Something tells me that if this young lady does have self esteem issues they won't be solved if she joins this chapter.

If the rest of the sorority feels as you do, they obviously wouldn't be able to accept her as she is, so I wouldn't give her a bid. If you don't like someone as they are right now, save them and you a lot of crap and don't even go there.

Plus, there are girls who lie about BOTH sides of the sexual spectrum. She might be pulling your chain just to see how you react. I know I would.
