This is probably more of an undergrad fundraiser, but I suppose anyone could do it. My chapter often works the concession stands at TAMU football games. Aramark is the company we work for and instead of paying us a day's wage we receive 10% of whatever our stand profits. You can make a lot of money in one day without putting anything up. The football game after 9/11 all of the game attendees either wore red, white or blue t-shirts that were sold as fundraisers. This caused a huge turnout at the game, like 86,000. That game our stand made $9000 so we got a check for $900. For undergrads, that's a lot to make in one day, especially without putting any money in.

My chapter has an annual scholarship fundraiser called THE PINK HUSTLE. This is a BIG party where there is food, fun, and fellowship. It is open to the public and this past year we sold 800 tickets at 25.00 a piece. This annual event gets bigger and bigger every year,so the chapter has to keep renting a bigger space. This is not the only fund raiser we have, but it is on of the more popular and more successful ones.
