I am OBSESSED with Netflix. I use it to watch a lot of TV shows more than anything else. I recently watched Morning Glory with Rachael McAdams. I thought it was really good. It had a chick flick vibe without so much of the romance and wasn't totally vapid. Good story, solid cast. I give it 4 out of 5. I would say watch it if you're in the mood for something not too deep, but still entertaining.

As soon as I get home from work, I'm going to finish watching "Nature's Deadliest". It's a really good documentary about deadly animals, insects, and arachnids. I do like that Netflix has quite a few documentaries.

That's one of my "work" films (I typically watch TV shows and documentaries when I'm at the office). I liked it.
You would probably like Deadly Dozen. It talks about "the top deadly animals" in specific countries. I enjoyed it.

Hilarious! @ what's in bold.
I'll have to watch the other one, too, when I get home. I love documentaries about animals. I'll bet you see some really weird/cool bugs living in Texas.

Not particularly, but I live in the city. I'm sure that it'd be different if I was in the country/near one of the lakes.
The "worst" I've seen were snakes and scorpions, but after living here for a decade, I don't think they're particularly weird

Best guess is that if you have a video card with an hdmi out or any kind of a dvi out port you can hook up your pc to hour television and it would then act as a monitor. I have one of my desktops acting in that capacity now.

"The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall" (2011)
- We loved it, but then we have every version we have ever seen. Lots of HD/DVD extras.

Hmmm...I didn't know Sony had an Amazon app, probably because we tend to go straight to Netflix and Crackle when we use it. I will have to check mine when I get home.

It may vary by model, but ours will stream Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, YouTube . . . .

We love out Sony Blu Ray Player and all the things it can do, even the ones it can do for free like YouTube. Set up a you tube account, create play lists, and then pick from your play list using the remote. The search function using the remote is difficult at best though. If you have to search or want to stream from a web site, best to have a computer connected to your amplifier and route it to your HDTV that way.

OMG I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this! I watched it 5 times (so lame I know) before returning it to Blockbuster. So need to buy it.
Mini-Hijack: DaemonSeid, I LOVE your signature!!!!!!!!!!!!
Back to the schedule thread:
I love my netflix, I just wish more of the movies I want to watch were available via streaming. The problem I have right now is that my Roku and wireless router have "issues" with streaming at a quick pace. Obviously much faster via my laptop.
I watched Skyline recently. So LAME! I kept hoping it would get better, so I kept watching and instead I was like "really". It was so dumb. 2 hours of my life that I will never get back.

"Quarantine 2: Terminal". Just finished watching it. I guess it never made it to the big screen. Funny how the first one did, because it wasn't as good as the second. A must see for those who like creepy movies about the spread of disease.

We were just binge watching a series, which I posted about on the binge watch thread, and then we decided to take a break from that and just watch a movie that’s not a series, which we just finished. “Nowhere” on Netflix was pretty good. I mean, it wasn’t great?… but it was still somewhat entertaining. Kind of reminded me of the movie “Castaway”. Some of you might enjoy it.

I'm almost regretting asking for a Roku player because I almost never use it. The Netflix pickin's are slim as far as choices I like on instant stream. But I've been getting into some TV series (Luther is up next) and I found some gospel plays I'd like to see. I think I'll keep it after all but I'm decreasing my plan--I don't use it enough to warrant 2 CDs at a time.
