I decided to be nice and finish this thread before the rush of new fall threads!!!
Pref Night
I was hoping to be returning to all 3 sororities, but I would be crushed if Blue Eye Girl wasn't on my list. I just knew it was where i was meant to be out of my remaining houses! I was (thankfully) one of the first PNM's to get my schedule, it said:

I finally had a full schedule again, woo!!! I also was invited back to my first pick!!! I was estatic as I went to the first house

Going into pref this house was my number 2 choice. I was preffed by a sister that I hadn't met, but I read a card with sweet little notes written by other sisters that I had met that said how much they'd like to have me a sister and see me there on bid day. The ceremony was okay, but very short. It wasn't very touching or emotional, which was what I was expecting. The conversation with the sister was alright, but I felt like she was nervous and I had to lead the conversation. I didn't feel at home, but I would still give them a chance.

I was so excited to return to this house! I was full of nervous energy when we lined up outside. I was preffed by the big of a sister I had met earlier in the week. I was handed something and food and was really touched. The conversation was great, and I felt very wanted. I believed that these girls really wanted me as their sister! The ceremony was beautiful. The stories that the sisters shared were so touching that I couldn't help but cry (and I never cry in public). I could imagine myself standing with them on pref night the next year, and looking around the room the girls sitting next to me looked like they could be my sisters. This is where I wanted to be on bid day.

I was just glad to have a full schedule, but not particularly thrilled to be returning to this house. I was also preffed by a girl I had never met, and she was a bit quiet. I just didn't feel a connection at all. I could tell that they had a very strong sisterhood, but I couldn't imagine myself as their sister. The ceremony was pretty and a lot of girls cried, but it didn't effect me at all. When talking to my active she made it very clear that you should feel a strong connection to the house you join, and I should be true to myself and follow my heart. I kindly hinted that her house didn't quite feel like home.
Ranking was relatively easily, I quickly wrote down:

I hesitated about adding the third house. I would not accept a bid. However I heard you should always try to maximize your options, and it's a smarter idea to write down all three. I also wrote down
