Haha, Greek Chat was really the only place I had to express my nerves. All I said to my roommate was "I'm a little nervous they won't like me." Everyone else said they were amazed at how calm I was!

I painted my nails to try and relax, but then I'd mess them up and have to start over again. My nails were maroon yesterday.

Do you get them from nerves? I used to be like that too. I VIVIDLY remember getting one right after I started school in the middle of the caf - while holding a full tray of food and nowhere nearby to set it down - and getting blood all over my pink sneakers. Not sure if anyone else noticed, but I was completely mortified.

My daughter gets them from nerves too. I have never heard of anyone else that does that, even though our doctor said it happens. She will be going thru Recruitment in 2 years and worries about getting a nosebleed during parties. I will have to let her know she is really not the only one that gets them due to nerves.

Parfait- I am loving your story and can't wait to find out about your bid day!

My guess is Sigma or Sigma Kappa, based on nailcolor choice alone.

aaaaaaand this is what happens when you take forever to tell your story when everybody already knows you had a happy ending. Way to drag it out make frog go all snark on you.

There's a thin line in everybody being excited for you, and you abusing that excitement when folks around here get impatient.

Congrats on your happy ending, but next time, just get to the point.

Sorry, I've been busy and the internet in my dorm is less than stellar so my internet usage has been a bit limited.

I'll just cut to the chase. I was given a bid to Alpha Delta Pi. As for the nails, I just like those colors. Our bid day shirts were Alice in Wonderland themed (Alphie in Wonderland) and just plain awesome.

Queen of Hearts was Alpha Sigma Alpha.
Mad Hatter was Sigma Kappa.
Caterpillar was Phi Mu. I feel that I may have been wrong in my initial assessment of them as some of my friends in my group went there and are very happy.
Cheshire was Sigma Sigma Sigma.
