AND... invitations are issued for the second round of parties following open house/ice water tea/first round. Membership selection starts then, and there are often very heavy cuts following the first round. So, you WOULD be "hurting another PNM's chances" if you do this.
I don't see how this is a "contingency plan". Further, I do not care for, nor do I believe in, "contingency plans" when it comes to recruitment.
