I have a bleaching tray that you can't see. I put gel in it and do experience sensitivity. The CREST product may be really strong it tingles bexause it's penetrating...I keep my tray on for hours. I can do anything except eat. I'll start getting a tingle in the lower-uncovered teeth that's when I take it out.
I have a slight root exposure from years of brushing too hard. That's the main source of the pain. That area also discolors easily with tea, coffee, wine tobacco etc. The tray bleached that area as well so the strips probably would too. Crest came to the ADA and asked them to promote it. Of course that would be a big no-no since it would be promoting CREST, but consider this, bleaching is a lucrative service of most dental practices.

1. When did you start to see the difference? I have a friend who also tried them and he said they didnt work for him so he returned the bottom strips for a refund.

2. When did your teeth start to get sensitive, or shall i say even more sensitive since you mentioned they are already sensitive as it is?

Thanks

Hopefully my teeth will look like this too
hey bucutie02!

2) they were sensitive after about the 3rd day.

My teeth starting getting sensitive early on as well, and while it was only for a couple of hours, I am now just applying the strips once a day instead of twice.

I cant really see a difference yet because my upper and lower teeth are the same and since i have only been applying the strips to my upper teeth I see no difference. Its only been like 5 days though and i forgot to wear them yesterday!

WOW!

I just finished my box of Crest Whitestrips and I am a true believer! My teeth weren't gross before or anything, but now they are WHITE WHITE WHITE! I'm so happy with this product I just had to share!

The best part was my friend complaining that she spent almost $600 at the dentist to have her teeth whitened and she thought mine looked better

i am currently using them now. i have had bad stains on my teeth since i was a kid. My dentist said it might have been from something i was given as a kid or from water i was drinking. my brother has the same problem. So i thought white strips wouldn't work because the stains were too deep and i would have to get cosmetic bleaching that would cost me a pretty penny. But at my last checkup, my hygentist suggested it. I have been kinda skipping treatments tho because, as said before, my teeth got super sensitive and my gumline got all red and irritated. I don't know why so I do maybe one a day instead of two a day. my top teeth look awesome. my bottom teeth, where most of the deep stains are... well, they look a lil better, but not by much.

Ahhh, I want to do this now!! My teeth aren't bad or anything, but I have this thing about having "perfect teeth." I want braces, even though my dentist tells me I am crazy!! I just want to be able to do this ~~> and know my teeth are BEE-A-U-TI-FUL!!

I did try them and liked them. I don't rem any problems.

I've been having an allergy problem what I am just now finding out the cause. I had given up everything that was relatively new until I found out the cause...the derm. finally says it is a drug interaction!! Gee, why couldn't they tell me that a month ago.

Anyway...back to the original question, yes I did like the Crest strips, but I am not sure they work on bonded/capped teeth.

Crest White Strips

I coulda sworn there was a thread on this before but I coudln't find anything.

I just tried these for the first time today. I'm not too sure if I like them or not. I kept tasting the gel on my tongue and I didn't feel like they were staying on good. I followed the directions.

What do yall think of them?

I used about half of my box at the end of fall semester and then saved the rest to use later. My teeth were noticeably whiter and have stayed that white up until now when I have started using them again because I have a less hectic schedule. When ever I put them on I always end up having to wipe some of the gel off of my tongue since it tastes nasty. And as soon as I take them off I rinse my mouth out to get the leftover gel out. I definitely reccomend them, they made a big difference, and now I have really white teeth

I have them, have only used them twice though because-- I don't know if my mouth is unusually large or what, but they only cover a few teeth, ones not covered are within the teeth you see when I smile. I guess I need to use double the amount of strips, or something.

I have a bleaching tray, and while it works like a hot damn, I have experienced some sensitivity.
One thing...try to keep as much of the gel on the outside surface of the teeth. If you have it on the inside surface of the teeth, this can increase sensitivity.

Did you all have to go to the dentist to get these trays, or what? I think that would be more comfortable than having things stuck to my teeth, since I'm used to wearing a tray (to keep me from grinding my teeth) at night anyway.

Yes, the best ones are the ones that are custom made to fit your teeth. You put a little gel in the trays & then wear them in the night time.
