Sunday night

Ok the shows were pretty alright. I watched Law and Order: criminal Intent. It was okay, not as good as SVU or original but it has potential.

Is it me or is The Practice one of the best shows i've seen in a while? I swear I was almost in tears when they let Leonard go ( Go head Roc!)

Also I watched UC-Undercover (on tape of course because it came on at the same time as The Practice and I do have priorities ) It was okay. I want to see who gets caught.

My husband tells me to tape shows I can't watch, but I know I'll never go back and watch them. Just like when I taped my soaps during the day, I never watched them. I just kept up-to-date with the online versions.

Thumbs down

I loved "Seinfeld", so I was eagerly anticipating "Bob Patterson". I laughed one time the entire 30 minutes.

Girl, you too?!! I loved me some "Seinfeld". I still do. I watch it all the time (in syndication). I know every episode there is. But you know, I couldn't even sit through a whole episode of "Bob Patterson". It just was not funny.

Steve Harvey & Men, Women, and Dogs

First Steve Harvey is finally back on but I am really not feeling it. Is it just me? I am glad they finally got together and everything but I AM TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRED of Lydia, Romeo, and Bullethead. They were in high school when I was still in college.

M,W & D = Why does Bill have to be the HOE?!?!?!
This show, well, hmm not my cup of tea but I might continue to watch it.

Yeah, I just thought Men, Women, and Dogs was just okay. I may watch to see if it will grow on me, but it really did not do much for me.

Does anybody know what happened to "For Your Love"? I really hope they didn't take it off, but I have a feeling they did. It makes me mad that they never give decent Black shows a chance. If it is not an instant hit, it is pulled. But let a White show just be doing okay, and it ends up on the front of TV Guide with the heading "Great Show, No One is Watching". Whatever.

Sorry to vent, but "For Your Love" was such a cute show.

4 Your Love was one of my favorite shows. I liked the interaction and the interracial friendships. How you go from that to Men,Women and Dogs.

Thumbs up The Ananda Lewis Show

Has anyone checked out the Ananda Lewis Show? I've been a fan since Teen Summit, so I may be biased. I like her show.

Red face The "New and Improved" Teen Summit??

Ok, BET decided to keep Teen Summit on the air for another season...but with the topics they have decided to put on the program..well, let's just say they could've canned it anyway...

The "premiere" talked about how you could "bling bling" without spending a lot of money and proceeded to show all these outfits which were far from inexpensive...I think an outfit that one of the host were wearing costs well over $1000...what teenager could afford something like that?...Is this the kind of message we want to be sending to our future youth? Bling-Blingin??? Competing against each other to see who has the best outfit??

I don't know if it's just me or what, but I was thoroughly disappointed by the program...there were some other topics on the show but I can't remember them all, but not one emphasized anything positive such as going to college, getting good grades, doing something positive in your communities, etc...

Did anyone else see the "new and improved" Teen Summit?

I've only seen it twice since Ananda left and no longer watch it. So, I haven't seen it in a loooooong time. The topic you mentioned doesn't sound liket the Teen Summit I used to watch. It lost its vibe a long time ago. It's too bad because it was a really good show. I was such a faithful viewer.

I was never a fan of Teen Summit even back with Ananda as host. I would watch it every now and again but it never held my interest.

However, from what MissKriss described as well as what I see in my classroom, this is true. Bling blinging is the thing to be in this day and age.

Teen Summit is only going along with what Robert Johnson is promoting for BET.

BET = Booty shaking Entertainment Television
BET = Bling blinging Entertainment Television
