I don't think I'm being hard. Just pointing something out, as it is sometimes assumed that a chapter which missed quota or is under total is "easier" to get into. Again, that's not what she said, I was just putting it out there for informational purposes.

It's also assumed that any group who is under is going to COB. I know that UMD has fall informal and spring formal recruitment. So it may be the case that chapters who are under might wait until then to to fill openings, especially if they are close.

The only reason I came down harshly was because of the way she stated her question. It seemed to be a fishy question to me and that she was just being nosey. If she had asked "which chapters are doing COB because i'm interested?"... that's another story.

I'm pretty sure at Maryland that if a chapter does not make quota they try to fill it but it mostly depends on how many seniors are graduating and what their numbers will be for the fall.

You appear to be new to GC, so you may not know that it is very common to post the results for all chapters from recruitment.
