Seriously, as a kid, every single time that I would whine about, "Mama, I can't do (fill in the blank)!" she'd say, "If Kate can cross this country TWICE in a covered wagon and have 15 kids, you can certainly (fill in the same blank)!"
I hated Kate for years!

I have an appointment with my primary care provider to get a referral to a reproductive endocrinologist for an infertility work up tomorrow. It's been a year for us TTC. Wish me luck that I am given the appointment and get in to see the specialist fairly quickly!

Yes, they will all be military doctors. I'm not sure whether that is good or bad yet. I'll have to see how I get treated. I do have the option of paying more for my insurance and using civilians. Since we're just starting on this process, that will be a lot of appointments to co-pay for though. Hopefully, the Air Force docs will be able to help DH and I. That way it won't cost me a cent, only my dignity for all the scrutinizing tests!
P.S. Aimee check your e-mail for a Bunco evite.

Ooops, Bunco evite! Got it, but forgot to reply! Sorry, going to do that right now. Good luck tomorrow. Let's hope it all works out for the best (drs, insurance, fertility).

We heard our little one's heartbeat today. That has to be one of the most exciting experiences of my life! It was so fast, I couldn't believe it. I'm at 12 weeks now, so almost my 2nd trimester!!!

Just found out that one of my initiation sister's had her baby on May 19th. A little girl names Emily. Yay for future legacies! (Emily was almost a month early, but quite healthy and doing well!)
I will probably know if ours is a legacy or beau on June 8th!
