lets say you guys had two good QBs. (Brees and Delhomme)

You were in a league that only had 1 RB...but also 2 WR/RBs.

You filled up your RB position with Edjerin James and the WR/RBs with Larry Johnson and GADO (GB RB).

Sitting on your bench if TJ Duckett, Kevin Barlow, Reggie Brown ...

if you had the opportunity to get another top notch running back would you do it?

In other words is this a good and fair trade? Delhomme, Kevin Barlow and GADO for Tiki Barber?

Getting Barber would give you 3 top notch RBs. James, Johnson and then Barber. Not to mention your WR positins are filled with the Moss brothers (not really related but Santana and Randy)

Does that look like a fair trade or a complete one sided trade?

I believe this would be a fair trade since the person recieving Delhomme, Gado and Barlow would get to fill 2 starting spots on their already weak lineup. That persons starting QB right now is trent "i dont throw TDs" green. Gado scores nothing but TDs and Barlow is a good backup.

Ofcourse the focal point of the trade was Barber. Potentially Barber would take the person with James and Johnson over the top. No oher person in the league has 3 top notch RBs. But then again that does not gurantee anything since that person has been sliding down each week. From 2nd...to 3rd....to 4th....and is now clinging onto the last playoff spot at 6th.

Oh yeah. Game of the Week in GC1 is Valkyrie vs Sister Havana.

Valkyrie has silently built herself a TOUGH team. Perhaps the most solid team in the league. Chicago D, Elam, Steve Smith, Plummer, Bell, Miller TE from Pittsburgh, Droughns

SOLID SOLID SOLID team.

Valkyrie has also almost caught up with SH in points and is in 3rd place.

In GC1 Bobby is a few steps closer to clinching the #1 spot. With a win this week over Tippie Chick, coupled that with a win by Valkyrie over SH...he would all but nail the top spot....he would just need to finish SH off the following week to claim the #1 spot in all of GC1 land. But we all know seedings don't mean jack especially once playoffs come around.

In other GC1 news...Bobby is looking for some WR help. Javon Walker and T.O. have not helped bobby much. Everyone on his team is on the trading block EXCEPT for Shaun Alexander and Antonio Gates.

In GC2 Shae is running away with this contest despite losing a few weeks ago to ZTAMich. Shaes two losses this year were both heartbreakers losing each matchup by less than 5 points.

Multiple Leagues Rarely Lead to Multiple Celebrations

by By Ladd Biro, Special to the Times

Forty yards. Forty stinkin' yards. Is that so much to ask, Julius?

I know, I know. I should have heeded the warning signs. Parcells told us you would split time with Marion Barber on Monday night, and I knew you weren't starting. But surely you'd get in there quickly and remind everyone why you were a second-round pick in virtually every fantasy draft this preseason, right?

Apparently not.

Forty lousy yards is all I needed for an elusive trifecta: winning in all three leagues on the same weekend. I've done it before, but just once this season.

Most fantasy players I know are in at least two leagues. Like most addictions, one is rarely enough to sate the appetite.

The problem is that it's tough to win in both leagues; so most weekends, your joy of victory is tempered by the agony of defeat. Worse yet, you often find yourself rooting against your own players, when one opponent starts the same guy you're counting on in another league.

Add a third team into the mix, where you are assured of playing against multiple players on your own teams, and it's almost impossible to experience true fantasy fulfillment on Monday nights.

But it was all there for the taking this weekend. Naturally, one of my opponents also started Julius Jones, but I had such a commanding lead after Sunday's games, he would have had to score four times before I broke a sweat.

Here's what made it worse: Samkon Gado and his three touchdowns were resting comfortably on my bench.

I had acquired the latest Nigerian Nightmare in two of my leagues last week, but only started him in one due to the differences in my rosters and, frankly, my reluctance to put both teams in the hands of an unproven player. After all, he's the 13th running back to start for Green Bay this season and he's, well, Samkon Gado, for Pete's sake.

I also couldn't bring myself to bench both of my top draft picks, Jamal Lewis being the other. Turns out, Jamal's latest stinker would have been enough to put me over the top, but Julius should have had the courtesy of taking care of business himself.

But it wasn't to be, and now it appears that we'll be seeing even more shared duty by Cowboys backs this season.

Welcome to the starting lineup, Mr. Gado…

ok this week REALLY SUCKED for me

Brandon Llyod FINALLY gets a touchdown and Galloway is held by the Falcons...grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Both T. Barber and L. Jordon didn't make any TDs ...grrrrrrrrr, while M. Anderson has a field day with 3 TDs and a fluke pick up for me b/c of P. Holmes being out for the season...

Again the endless debate between Manning and Hasellbeck and I should have chosen E. Manning

CLEVELAND kicked Miami's ass up and down and back again....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

this was a *fun* week for me in .....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Me too...RC is beating me by about 50 points, and even though I have someone playing tonight, I don't think I'll be able to score enough to beat him. I've lost 9 straight games. Awesome.

Sorry homey, I laid some wood in both leagues this week. And yes, this entire post was simply an excuse to drop some sort of 'woodshed beating' reference, kind of like during the Iowa/Minnehaha game.

Donovan McNabb had surgery to repair his hernia/groin injury. The surgery was a success and they didn't find any ovaries.

Every time I click on my team it says that I'm not allowed to view the page because I'm not a member of the league.
