Yeah, I remember that because his daughter is the same age as my older daughter, his wife is the same age as me....and he's the same age as MY DAD!

Tri Delt info?
How did the Tri-Delts do this year? I remember their round house. And what are the Old Row sororities? I'm a UGA girl and all but three of our houses were on that long stretch of Milledge Ave.

Esther,
Please PM me and I may be able to give you some information. Also, I have some photos of the new DDDs at Georgia which I can share with you through e-mail.

Hi Estherjb!
I'm sure the DDD's did great this year...sounds like every house was happy as they all worked hard to pledge their top rushees!!
As far as old row, I thought at Alabama that included Kappa Kappa Gamma, Kappa Delta, Chi Omega, Tri-Delt, & Alpha Gamma Delta. My hubby reminded me that Alpha Chi Omega & Phi Mu are or were sometimes considered Old Row (back in school when we were both there) as well!
We all jokingly said it was whomever was invited to Lake Party that year. Ha Ha!
Hope this answers your question!!

My DDD daughter heard from her Ole Miss XO sister who had heard from an AGD at Bama that DDD had a great rush and got all their top girls. For what that is worth

ADPi is not quite next door to the Chi O house. There used to be a small building between the two but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called. When the Univ expanded the stadium years back they gave this lot to AKA who built a new house there. Remember when Pi Phi built their new house? It was at the same time. So going from Bryant drive up Magnolia, it's now the ADPi house, AKA, then Chi O.

The AKA house has been there for years. I can't remember what it housed before AKA but I know it wasn't a sorority. The AKA's moved in long before the stadium expansion when the Pi Phi's moved into their new house.

The old row sororities are Kappa, Phi Mu, KD, Tri Delt, and Chi O.

Congrats AOPi and PhiMu
Congrats to these chapters who got two girls from our area. I tried to find the new AOPi in the pledge class photo but I can't pick her out from amongst all those blondes .

I hear that Joe Namath did have another daughter come through this year -- I believe she has a different mother from her older sister, so they are technically 1/2 sisters.

Question for MVisKD
I figured the Bama KD's had a reason(s) for not reaching quota this year, but I have one question I've been curious about from time to time: why don't they have a website? Being Alabama's largest sorority and (arguably) most popular one, it doesn't make sense to me that they don't yet. Phi Mu's hasn't apparently been renewed and the Kappas' hasn't been updated since March of this year but apparently the KD's have never had one. Would you be able to find out why? Also, is it possible that they'll have one up anytime soon? Just wonderin!

No Namath came through rush this year but there was another Stabler daughter that came through and pledged Phi Mu.
