blazercheer-
rock on! have a great time a prefs and good luck!

carnation-
so glad you're sane enough to be having fun with this (even if it's at our expense -- not knowing what's going on is KILLING me!) i hope we get an incredibly detailed, blow-by-blow recap of the week when it's all said and done!

can it start once the bid lists are in??

Oh my goodness...this is all so exciting. This seems a bit strange to me, because it feels so early for school to be starting in August! For me, I feel like I have a half month of summer left! (Canadian university starts after the Labour Day weekend).

I am so excited for Blazer Cheer and I hope and pray that she receives a bid and winds up in a "home" that she loves! (crossing fingers.....)

Isn't BC pretty much guaranteed a bid by either of the sororities she prefs? So why can't we know both GLOs? (putting on pouty face)
Hope she doesn't suicide! I think all the sororities at VSU are wonderful and even though her sister is in one, I am sure she'd be happy in any of them!

GPhiBLtColonel, she may be likely to get a bid, but remember, nobody's guaranteed a bid from anyone. I can understand why Carnation'd want to be discreet 'til the bid lists are in.
That said, I'll likely be waiting up for word on how BlazerCheer liked prefs.

Guess I am confused -- easy to do considering my age; but I always thought you'd end up in either sorority you preffed as long as you did not suicide. Mea culpa!

Hmmm...don't you have to put legacies on your FIRST bid list? That said, if I were a betting woman...

Right now she would be at lunch.

The parties does not start untill 4:15 and end at 7:45 which means byt the time I get off work we should know whose house she was at today (beside Chi-O)

and tomorow is bid day at 11:00am.

Blazercheer knows the rules about calling you when she finds out before she goes away with her new sisters right? She better not wait for ever to do so. Just a simple Hi mom I went AAA got to run!
Is that so much to ask?

Chris

*smacks head* DAMN GOOD POINT!!!!!

Sheesh, we've all been so caught up in this we missed the totally obvious thing.

To knock a legacy off your first bid list (while VSU has legacies- i'm sure there's not more legacies that there is room on the bid list) you'd need like super-ultra-special-extraordinary permission from a national officer.

I think all GLOs have their own policies regarding legacies.

I went to Chi O's webpage and it doesn't say what their legacy policy is. However, I'm sure that most nationals have at least *similar* legacy policies... I'm gonna do a GC search....

Anyway, I'm sure that whether BC chooses to go Chi O or another chapter at VSU, she will choose well and be an awesome new member.
