LOL it's all good, though. Ohio State and Michigan go back and forth. It just all depends on which team is having a good year.

BIELEMA IS GONE!!!!
Hallelujah! I hope he works out well for Arkansas, but I am so glad he (and his inability to manage a clock, manage a d line, and behave himself) is gone.
I really, really, really hope Paul Chryst comes back. A dream....

[QUOTE=AOEforme;2192151]BIELEMA IS GONE!!!![QUOTE]
I hear ya. I didn't love or hate him (I'd say moderately disliked). But even I say, don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya!
He is a mediocre coach, now moving to a conference that will just have their way with him. Good luck, Razorbacks. They did us a favor; now we don't have to pay him to go away.
I just want to know who our new coach will be, and I hope that Barry has been looking for a while already. With the general feeling in Madison the past year, he should have been.

Once again, the SEC steals Arkansas State's coach.
Last year, after 1 year, Hugh Freeze left us to go to Ole Miss.
This year, after 1 year, Gus Malzahn is leaving us to go to Auburn.
There are some very unhappy Red Wolves fans.

I wonder if he's still going to wear a game day "good luck" jacket that's zipped all the way up to the neck. That's going to get hot down south.

Les Miles wears a wind breaker at every game, and it's hot as hell in Baton Rouge in September.

Alternately, we have Brady Hoke at Michigan, who always wears a short sleeve shirt. Always short sleeves. No sweatshirts. No rain gear.

Bobby Petrino, formerly of Arkansas (until he got fired for hiring his 20something mistress and getting into a motorcycle wreck with her), has been hired by Western Kentucky University.

ETA: why didn't y'all snap him up at ASU, Lane?

There actually were quite a few fans who wanted ASU to do just that. But, I think ASU and other fans felt that there was too much baggage.

I'm really surprised at WKU for making that choice. :-(

I'm sure. He'll use WKU as a stepping stone, but he proved he can't be trusted. I would LOVE to read his WKU contract.

I think one of the UK beat writers filed an open records request (or whatever it's called) to get a copy. If it gets posted I'll be sure make note and share. I can't believe Western hired him myself. We'll see.
