hahahaha! I absolutely crashed last night - I had every intention of posting but didn't. I posted in one other forum but have no clue if it was even coherent. I didn't get to meet up with everyone as a group as I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off, but I think I was on the shuttle from the airport with ADPiAkron, but didn't figure that out till later in the week and didn't see her again to mention it!
I have a few notes that I took. I combined my list and the list of one of my advisors to come up with these:
** Golden Lion (in random order) - Thirteen total awarded
Beta Tau - University of Akron
Alpha Eta - Kansas State University
Epsilon Nu - Ashland University
Kappa - Samford
Beta Omega - Auburn University
Alpha Kappa - University of Tennessee, Knoxville (my girls!!)
Zeta Nu - Clemson University
Eta Xi - Presbyterian College
Delta - University of Texas
Eta Epsilon - Miami University (the one in Ohio)
Delta Phi - University of Missouri, Kansas City (first time winner!)
Zeta Sigma - College of Charleston (first time winner!)
Gamma Theta - Mount Union College (first time winner!)
** Stanard Leadership (in random order) - Twelve total awarded
Eta - University of Alabama
Beta Epsilon - University of South Carolina
Delta Nu - Southwest Missouri State University
Beta Sigma - Mercer University
Delta Mu - Sam Houston State University
Gamma Iota - University of Florida
Delta Upsilon - University of Tennessee, Martin
Zeta Beta - North Carolina State University
Zeta Rho - Vanderbilt University
Beta Eta - University of Michigan
Eta Lambda - Albright College
Gamma Phi - East Tennessee State University (my girls!!)
I didn't take down the list of Excellence, Achievement, or Diamond Four-Point Chapters - sorry! - but I do remember Alpha Iota got Diamond Four-Point for sure and either Achievement or Excellence - cause I remember being excited for Honeychile! There were several chapters who moved on up the ladder.
It was a wonderful evening with lots of excitement. Our chapters are accomplishing great things out there, and so many of them have taken great strides to receive this recognition. Our new Grand Council is a great group of women who will do a great job in leading us for the next two years:
International President - Claire Brown Gwaltney
International VP of Collegiate Membership - Anne Charnock
International VP of Collegiate Membership - Susan Swicord Matthews
International VP of Alumnae Membership - Lorraine Alderman Testa
International VP of Finance - Tammie Pinkston
International VP of Organizational Relations - Rosalyn Doze Williams
International Secretary - Sydnee Jack
Executive Director - Linda Welch Ablard (appointed rather than elected, so I believe she will be continuing)
And our new NPC Delegate will be former IP - Kathryn Peddy Goddard
