LOL. They cast that perfectly.

The Jersey accents combined with the baby talk was so adorable.

"No more negative energy. I'm just gonna focus on my modeling career. I mean, my daughter's modeling career."

I'm watching it again. LOL.

ETA: Upon further review, I have concluded that Danielle's "protection" were hotties.

Re: the hotties. Lest we not forget: Danielle was intimating in her song/performance that she is now a lesbian. (Although someone said that upon moving into her condo the first thing that she asked about was if there were hot young guys in the building.)

Ahhhhh, can't wait to see what Danielle/the editors offer up..............

OMG!! I am ashamed to say it, but I absolutely can not WAIT for next week's episode. Kim "G", Lord!! Comedy at it's finest.

Now, after watching tonight's episode, all I can say is that we can make all the presumptions we want about Danielle, but this woman seems to really love those daughters of hers. I mean, despite the parties, the dinners, the attempts to promote herself in the process, she uses what appears to be a careful approach when dealing with them. Now, whether it's all an act for the cameras of the show or not remains to be seen, but one thing's for certain, she seems to have pretty good parenting skills ... at least in my opinion. She knows how to encourage them without pushing them, and she lets them know how proud she is of them, thus establishing herself as the parental figure for her children (which is more than I can say for Jacqueline and Ashley's relationship, who seem too much like sisters for there to be any REAL parenting going on (e.g., one second they're giggly, and the next they're at each other's throats)). And, I'll be honest in saying that, for a while, I really thought Danielle's daughters were, as Caroline put it, "socially awkward", but after seeing their father tonight, those girls are a regular chip off the ol' block, ... even the awkward stares they get from him. FREAKY!!

I haven't seen tonights episode, so I can't really comment about that, but I totally agree with you about Danielle. As much as I think she's a nutjob, she seems like she's doing a darn good parenting job. Some of the things she does is questionable (like allowing her daughters to be in the know about all the drama of her life) but no parent is perfect. I think she is doing a better job of parenting than Jacqueline did with Ashley......although that might have had to do with Jaqueline's age at the time. And although Teresa's daughters are brats at times, I think she does a heck of a job as well.

That is probably the only thing I can like about Danielle.

I guess y'all missed the episodes with Danielle talking to her daughters about her sex life and other inappropriate topics? She sometimes talks to them as if they are her girlfriends. Yeah, she does alright sometimes but definitely not "mother of the year." I was raised old school I guess - children were not privy to adult business, not even in the room when adult convos were taking place and I think that's how it should be. I guess not for others but this is a big deal to me. What children are exposed to (when not developmentally ready) can really contribute negatively to who/what they become.

Does no one remember the table flipping incident? The other children were taken out of the room. Yes, this is the mother's past but there is a time and place for kids to get certain information. And, in public, to hear the their mother was a "prostitution whore" who pistol whipped someone.............yeah, sometimes a parent's past is on a need to know basis until they are old enough to understand it and put the past into context.

Yeah I remember. That was the dumbest thing ever. I'm glad the kids were taken out of the room.

I kind of feel as though a lot of this is staged for the show. That's the only way I can make sense of adults acting so stupid in front of children.

Speaking as someone who has a little bit of insider info about reality TV....No, nothing is "staged". Sometimes discussions are suggested, the Laguna Beach show was an example of that. Many of these women (in other shows) were not friends prior to the show's production. But you can't script these ladies. But you do have to have a certain personality to be a part of a show like this. And, unlike Caroline, who has brakes...Danielle doesn't...but she makes great television.

Not to be sarcastic or anything, but if then would you like the explain the season finale of The Hills?

That ending scene sure did look staged.
