LOL.

The line was from the episode when Carol gave birth to her twin girls. Mark (being her coach) said that they (the twins) both turned out so well that she should try it (being pregnant) again. (See during the c-section for the second baby the doctor thought she might have to do a hysterectomy and Carol said no and Mark told the doc to clamp off a blood vessel). Carol said that she would 'get right on it'.

I pm'd NAUADPi letting her know the sisters name from epsilon xi who is pregnant with a boy. I don't feel comfortable posting her name on the forum (mainly because I don't want anyone to think I'm stealing her thunder).

BTW Sherra how is Case doing?

Sherra, he is getting so big so fast! I just saw one of my best friend's daughter two weeks ago - she's gotten SO big and so beautiful since I saw her in September, and I'm sure that you feel the same way about Case!

ADPi moms

Hello sisters,
There will be a few of us at convention in a couple of weeks...with babies. It has not been easy deciding to go to convention, let alone pay for all the extras. Considering that we are an organization of women, don't you think we ought to make it easier for women with babies to be actively involved? Here's what I propose...tell me what you think.

For women with babies up to 6 months old, or those whom they are still nursing:
single room at no extra charge (so the caretaker can stay with them)
reduced prices on meals for caretaker (40 for a lunch!!?? 75 for a dinner!!??)

I feel incredibly bad asking my mother to come with me, take care of my child, and then eat alone practically every meal!

?

You make a very good point - is there someone here who can make the suggestion to the proper authorities?

You could even have a "Legacies & Beaux on Parade" type event that would be fun...!

convention

I can...I'm planning on doing a little write up that I will bring and email to the meeting planner and Grand Council. I'll add a room to nurse or just hang out in, like the hospitality rooms that they always have. Wish me luck!

Sounds like a great idea! It's difficult for moms with infants. I think we often lose our volunteers when they have young kids, so let's make it as easy on them as possible! Go, sister, go!

Congratulations on to all the future mothers to be...May you has an easy delivery and healthy legacies.

Can a future Grandmother bud in....my daughter-in-law is 22 weeks now. Sex is unknown as they are waiting for the big event to find out. Personally I am hoping for a little girl. She already has two little boys and I really really want to go shopping for all those cute little girl clothes. After they leave the toddler stage....the boy stuff isn't all that cute unless you hit gymboree. Of course I am being totally selfish here.
